I was all about this group because I served alongside DJ Shipley we were running are own ops but I got the QRF call on one of his ops went sideways in Al Kharma and actually a couple other incidents but my point being even though I was a operator I heard some comments made by one of his law enforcement guys on group commenting about crazy gun toting preppers that turned me off just because of the I'm a superior attitude and the fact that probably most of their funding comes from"American Crazy Preppers." I just can't stand when law enforcement or other entities think they are entitled to hear up and train but not anyone else especially when those men are supporting you and making you rich either by paying for training reading your fantasy novels etc! This type of thinking is what I have seen get NSW into trouble thinking they are far superior then at that time they really were do to lack of actual combat experience. I do believe they have become far more proficient since my run ins with the unit and hats off to DJ when in a interview he admitted they weren't trained for what we were seeing and the environment we were fighting in. My guys were in a meat grinder night and day and I was in so many contacts and ambushes left for dead it's insane the tempo of fighting we were seeing in Al kharma. But again I respect DJ for admitting that it's the only time you will ever hear a Seal admit a lack in training. That's what happens when you don't spend time out indigenous in the city in a urban environment and fly back to BK and team house after each OP.
Well... bypassing all the stuff about you operating (good on you and all of that), the video you're referencing about shotgun breaching has been taken the wrong way a lot. I believe Slade was the one who made the comment (he's not LE, he's prior DEVGRU like they are). What he was saying was in a situation where LEO's are having to breach due to warrant, the worst conditions they're likely to encounter are found when going against a prepper/3 percenter (to name the two groups he used as an example).
That's not him saying that either of those groups are terrible people. What he's saying is that if you have a person who goes crazy who happens to be either of those groups (any group can have people go crazy, it's not a reflection on the group itself), that's the worst situation they are likely to encounter, because that type of person is more likely to go out of their way to fortify their house.
GBRS didn't explain any of this, they just pulled the video. People are/were really quick to jump on the hate train, without considering what was actually being said. You should always look at what capabilities your opponent could have, when training for tactical situations. He was giving a worst case situation by saying if the criminal they are going in for happens to actually think tactically, they're likely to not have a door that is defeated with a simple kick. Just saying. GBRS is by no means perfect, but perpetuating the thought that they are anti prepper/veteran/etc based on that video isn't factual.

Well one I had no idea anyone other than me even overheard that comment and I am well aware of what he said and what he meant far as situational stand point it just seemed like he was saying it from the same old I am a god mindset you get when working with Seals or at least in my experience. You never get that when working with CAG or any other group.
