    I need information about the beatstep pro for hip hop sampler
    Please you can make a video showing how you do to sample vocals and elements using beatstep pro, I am thinking of buying a beatstep pro

    • @distillednoise
      @distillednoise  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Robson! I tried to use it to play samples for a chill jazz track i did for fun! it works properly! But the works it's all done on ableton and you use the beatstep just as a controller to trigger the samples! if you want to sample out of the computer you should look for a Maschine by Native Instrument or for the Ableton Push! Take a look on you tube you will find a lot of tutorial!
      Thanks for watching :)

    This Is great! Can you explain your workflow? Is BSP only triggering sounds from ableton or also sequencing?

    • @distillednoise
      @distillednoise  Před 6 lety +2

      Luciano Daloisio hey! Thanks and happy new year! BSP is sequencing the drum pattern and the sub bass while vocal samples and snarer are just triggered by me. I find BSP super useful to try drum patterns and bass patterns!

    Nice tutorial, just found your channel by searching after deep tech minimal house. I know you do the baseline with sylenth.I assume you did a very big low cut on the kick ,right? Cheers Daniel

    • @distillednoise
      @distillednoise  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Daniel! It was more than a year ago so i'm not sure about this, but i think that I just put a low shelf on the kick. Actually there is a lot of energy in the bottom end (maybe too much) because the kick was really bassy and punchy! Thanks for watching

    • @danielribeiro4618
      @danielribeiro4618 Před 5 lety

      @@distillednoise just one question when you have a kick at 50hz do you just do a low shelf on the baseline at 50hz or do you a wider shelf? How do you do the mixdown I mean the levels of each item like claps or high hats..just by earing or how? Sorry for the questions but Im new into this :-)
      Thanks
      Daniel

    • @distillednoise
      @distillednoise  Před 5 lety +1

      Just by ear. For the kick and bass it depends..lately i never go into surgical adjustments..if i hear that they interfere one with the other i try with a sidechain usually..more that frequency cuts. But it really dependes by what seems to work to my ears ahah
