Just to clarify, it wasn't Big Bang's live performance - it was Stray Kids' cover. That award show (GDA) was this year, so Big Bang were in the military. Stray Kids performed "Road" by g.o.d and "Bang Bang Bang" by Big Bang as a tribute to the legends. But yes, Taehyung and BTS were the fans of Big Bang (don't know how it is now, but.. yeah) and they were adorably excited during that Stray Kids performance :)
This is also one of the reason why BTS is different from the other groups. They are always being their usual selves, being dorks, chaotic and crackheads even in award shows. If you could see the reaction of most Idol in award Show in South Korea, they are usually reserve and give little reaction afraid of giving away their cool persona and avoid offending anyone, it is usually per Company's Rules they need to oblige. BTS is like the deviant group among all and its refreshing for audience and artist alike💜😊.
Where they are dancing really crazy at 4:49 I remember it was from MBC end of the year award show of 2016 But yeah that year was super cold at night everyone was waiting for midnight to hit and as you may not know kpop artist's outfits are either really thin or uncomfortable so in order to warm up BTS being their crazy self dance on the stage while waiting for the fireworks to died down. While other artists are just standing on stage and huddle for warmth.

Asian award shows are way longer and more extravagant than western ones so BTS are definitely not the only ones performing by a long shot. They are usually the most looked forward to though for good reason. Also, I saw your previous video about blackpink. YG, BP’s label, has said a lot of not very kind things about BTS so a collaboration will likely never happen. Most ARMYs are fine with that since Blinks (BP’s fandom) are very vocal with their hate for BTS. Also, I imagine a collaboration would require BP to make their own music, which they don’t. One more thing, BP has copied various cultures and is therefore seen as problematic. BTS generally doesn’t collaborate with problematic artists.
