Great! This is exactly what the Dreaming Spanish needed. A male teacher who is from Spain. I enjoy all the content but it's good to have variety, and I prefer Spanish from Spain.

Also I noticed that a number of my fellow learners thought that Andrés spoke too fast for the intermediate level. I am currently at 280 hours of total input and I respectfully disagree. Here's an alternate explanation. Juan from "Español con Juan" said in one of his blogs that when there is a lot of unfamiliar vocabulary we sometimes focus on the new word and miss the next few words which makes it seem like the speaker is speaking fast. We haven't had many blogs on the military and there was more new vocabulary than usual. I just watched the video a second time and it didn't seem fast at all upon the second viewing.

@@user-sc9ec6wg7mI'm at 299 hours and for me he doesn't speak too fast at all. But his "s" sounds like the typical castellano "s" which I didn't notice in Pablo's videos. So it's also very useful...

02:27,todo muy bien,solo recuerde que el ejercito español no se permite el saludo miltar con la cabeza descubierta,(sin boina,gorra o casco),en ese caso,el subordinado se cuadra y saluda verbalmente al superior,ademas,en los rangos de oficiales no ha puesto alferez,teniente,capitan,comandante,teniente coronel y coronel,sino que ha puesto rangos de generales.Solo para mas informacion,gracias!

Some Spain castellano speakers -- I assume it's a regional thing -- have this interesting, or peculiar, sort of vocal timbre. Not sure if it's technically _nasal,_ but it definitely sounds sort of ... _pinched,_ or constricted in some way.
It also features /s/ being realized sometimes as [ʃ], but I can't figure out the phonological rule. I don't hear this from Pablo at all.

Maybe for people new to intermediate, but for me at 400 hours this was perfect, especially with all the supporting imagery.
In contrast to the other comment, I'm at 400 hrs, and he was a touch too fast for me. Maybe I'm having an off day. But the great thing about watching via the website is I can customize the speed. .9-.95 x was perfect for me!
