Aldo is a top 5 fighter of all time and could be argued 3rd behind gsp and anderson. He's probably 4 behind gsp, anderson, and jon. The greatest generation of champions is when all 4 of these guys had belts.
Hes firmly most peoples' 5th. Theres alot of room for conversation between where GSP, Jon, Anderson and DJ all land, but almost everyone then has him at 5.
But if Aldo had of fought Sterling for the belt instead of TJ, we'd all have to put him on Rushmore.

Aldo vs. Sandhagen that'll be a fun fight & the winner gets a title shot, hopefully against O'Malley (if he can beat Merab) which makes for another fun fight. #9 Umar without a ranked W must fight his way up the rankings like the others, starting with a 11-15 or 6-10 opponent then a top 5 opponent. Aldo has Ws over 4 top 15 fighters, he gets dibs on a #1 contender fight against Sandhagen, over Umar.

The brazilian fans kinda embarass me. How do you walk out when aldo or pantoja win the fight. Happened last year when glover lost. These are your heroes. Makes me think they dont deserve events in brazil. France doesnt have 1/10 of brazil mma talent but ufc paris events are always great and fill the stadium. It's quite simple: there's no public transportation and Rio at night can be dangerous. People are trying to avoid traffic or robbers. You don't see that with live concerts or football games because they end way earlier and have better organization in general.
The UFC should be doing more events in São Paulo or Curitiba, safer cities with better transportation and at an earlier time. We love MMA and support our own in Brazil, but the UFC is doing their thing without catering to our needs/interests.
