- Ever since I was little I loved to color! I created the background on this mini quilt using Inktense Pencils by Derwent. So quick and fun. Enjoy!

Enjoy it! I like line drawings. If I need to know the colors I google image the flower's name. The borders in the book are great too!
Wow, those Inktense pencils really look fabulous on that quilted background, very fun idea. And you have such a great imagination, going from those botanical line drawings to your fabric pansy, it looks just lovely!!

I love when you use the Inktense pencils. I picked some up last year and have played with them a bit on fabric. The quilting and coloring were such a good combo!

Hi Brenda, Mine is so old and has been through a lot. I keep tightening screws-LOL. The alphabets are great. I only have a couple but used them in many projects. It's nice to be able to add words or personalize something. Have a great week!

I love this! So is it washable? What type of ink can be used on let's say on a kiddos quilt? Thank you!!
Inktense pencils are an ink that once activated and dried become permanent. I usually use fabric medium to activate. Heat set with an iron also helps. I'm not sure if I would use it on something that is repeatedly washed. I have tested with a couple of washings with good results. Someone mentioned in the comments that she has used the Inktense on aprons with no problems. I would test first. Thanks for watching, Julia
