  • This video was produced for the Farm Journal Field Days. Some sprayer productivity highlights are covered and then most of the video shows details about the Mixmate equipment. The Mixmate Fusion and Pro inductors, Double Stack, and Flow Single equipment are covered. The video gives a good overview of the components used to build a Mixmate chemical blending system.
Visit our website for more details about the Mixmate automated blending system. www.praxidyn.com/
The average sprayer only sprays during 25% of the engine hours. These numbers come from modern self-propelled sprayers that record this type of information. The average sprayer is also idling during 28% of the engine hours and the balance is road and turning time. If the idle time were cut in half and added to spraying time, the sprayer would be 56% more efficient. A sprayer that was averaging 50 acres/engine hour would then be covering 78 acres/engine hour. If the cost per engine hour for the sprayer is $150 then the operating cost would be $3.00/acre versus $1.92/acre for the more efficient sprayer.
The Mixmate Fusion Inductor with a three-input Flow Stack is our most popular system. The video shows a close view of the Fusion and its features. The Mixmate Pro Inductor is also shown with the additional features of the Pro. A Mixmate Double Stack and Flow Single are also shown for use with the bulk chemicals.
Thank you for watching our video!
