When you fill with hot water you don’t need press 2” for self-heater, but you can press 2x the button for direct pump for extraction..

Does it comes with a removable battery , maybe after time of daily use afttects on performance

The batteries are built in and non removable.

It's kind of odd to not make it so you can rest it on the cup that it comes with. Seems like a logical feature that's missing.

It is. I find you can leave it on but just a bit worried about doing it. But they also have an accessory that rests it above the cup so 🤷‍♂️ dunno. Like you say, odd

have you been using dark or light roast? If so. For light, does it taste like it extracts well?
Do you mainly use pods? or have you used the ground head much? Given the user name I am assuming more pod than not.
Wonder if any of those reusable pods work in it. though I dont think i'd do that.

Hi there, I only use pods for this machine. I did use my own blend (I own a coffee roastery) which is a light/medium roast and it didn't come out too well BUT that was only 1 attempt. I tend to just stick to pods in the travel machines now. As for reusable pods, I may try that out as I have some here.
