The pink dress does not suit her colouring. The woman who said if it were in green, was spot on.
100%. I absolutely agree.
Better still the teal worn by the consultant.
Yes.
Well you know i thought the navy dress looked stunning on her.....
The second daughter in law is quite irritating, intolerant and condescending. The son is an idiot. That lively mother is going to get her spirit broken, if she does not recognize their ridiculous attitude.
I thought sexy mother looked conservative with the bolero jackets on and looked really good. The son and bride were too conservative to the exteme.
'Catholic Church' says it all. Yuk
@@veronicacrabtreehill6608 - I don't think this is so much 'Catholic Church' as bride foisting her absurd modesty rules on everyone. If the bride doesn't like strapless, the bride shouldn't wear strapless. What everyone else wears to the wedding is their business, not hers.
@@veronicacrabtreehill6608 Wow! That's a comment and a half.
Just one thing 😂😂 why does Dante always ask what the customers are there for, when it’s a Mother of the Bride dress shop and that’s basically all they sell 😂😂😂😂
That bride already can’t stand her mother in law, l can’t see that changing, the bride is going to be in charge in her family, the groom doesn’t stand a chance, he’s going from a dominant mother to a dominant wife.
The husband of the second bride is in for a fun filled marriage lol
They probably haven’t had sex 😂
The wedding night must have been a riot!
@@justgrowthehellup6598 🤣😅😆
So laid back she's verging on comatose. 😂
@@justgrowthehellup6598 fully clothed sex! 😂
So we're recycling people from episode 10 of a singular season, by only episode 12. Just using Vicki's entourage friend this time as the mother, and swapping Vicki to entourage. Were there no other mothers of brides needing dresses back then?
Chelsea hates her future MIL 😂
I think the sales people deliberately give them what they don't want to narrow down their preferences
Wow drama drama drama! I live in regional NSW Australia and when I got engaged my parents and I went to Sydney for 2 weeks to find my dress mums outfit and material for the bridesmaids dresses. I am furthered from drama as you can get and so is my family. We first thought we would start at the same bridal store mum bought her wedding gown from. We walked into this huge 3 story wedding and accessories store and just casually looking around I had this gorgeous gown in mind I seen in one of their magazines and thought that was the dress, long story short we were paired with a lady and she took one look at me (swimsuit model) and said hold on! We just got this dress in its perfect! I went in the change room and she bought in the dress I was floored! Totally different from my “dress” ivory A line front panel brocade with gold threading and the top had the same brocade with material matching the rest of the dress in the T-shirt style sleeves it had a hoop style petty coat but not big a small train and you could tie it up at the back when I got to the reception which was just so pretty. It was elegant and I knew it was the one when both my parents cried seeing me. Funny as I ended up having a 3 tier vail just like mum had dad picked a beautiful tiara that just set it off. So very first dress DONE! We went down stairs to the bridesmaids part and easily chose bridesmaids material we had lunch then went into a very big department store and mum found her outfit in less than an hr I got my lingerie (dad already had a tux) and to add I ended up having the same style wedding band as mum. (platinum band with yellow gold on the outside which matched my engagement ring band) so the rest of the 2 weeks we caught up,with friends family and had a ball. My wedding organisation was exactly the same, simple and elegant no stressing out no tantrums crying etc it was a beautiful day and night had by all and my bridesmaids were champions!
Congrats at things going so smoothly. Hope the rest of your life has gone as smoothly.
Sounds like funds weren't an object..always makes life smoother..
That is how it should be, no stress, no fuss, everyone happy❤
What is with the succession of dark blue dresses on this show? Other colours barely get a look in.
Oh come on now, the 'almondine' brown ruched gown with shrug gets trotted out religiously. It's still in stock 10 yrs later , on their website. I died !
@@sarahholland2600 This is very true. I'm sure they couldn't give it away.
Will the bride go on honeymoon or spend it in the cemetery
Hahahaha! The shop owner looks like a warden on a high security prison! 🤣🤣🤣
I think Chelsea and Chris should either forget about the marriage or emigrate immediately after . the mum seems jokey but she is really doing all she Can to get her own way . Be afraid for your future Chelsea. She will go up against ypu on everything in your life . The only hope is that Chris is forever after wife first mum second .
Collecting crosses is very weird though
😊
You said it all in your last sentence.
Bride needs to loosen up a bit and stop being such a prude. A glimpse of knee - OMG bring me my smelling salts!
Of course she should do all she can to get her own way, she's not a child - she's a middle aged woman who has a right to make decisions for herself and what she will wear. How dare Chelsea impose her ridiculous 'modesty' rules on others.
First lady has a fab figure and looks great I'm all dresses
Imagine Chelsea, the opinionated bride wedding dress shopping. Nightmare.
Yes
The sexy mother and her daughter in law really don’t like each other very much.
Personally I think that the mother sees the daughter in law as a rival. There are so many opportunities in life where she can wear short sexy dresses showing as much skin as she likes. Why is it so difficult to choose a modest dress for a wedding? Her son reminded her that it is not her wedding and I guess he knows his mother well: she tries to be in the limelight. I hope this is all scripted though and that woman is not really so needy.
Haven’t we seen Vicki before ?
If Vicki is the woman with the short grey hair and glasses, dressed like an eight year old boy and friend of the mother, I'm pretty sure we have. I think she was mum of the bride in a previous episode.
Why not let the bride have her day ? You had yours
The bride and her brother are so boooring. My goodness how sad can they get. She does not know her Mother and obviously has never tried to get to know her. SO SNOBBY it is sickening.
I think you mean her husband. That was the daughter in law.
Some of the "children" are really being disrespectful..
Dante and the bosses daughter...!
Just watched an episode that the firdt group were on just different motb. Wonder how harsh they will be on this mother compared to the last one 😏
That other couple the friends were also getting bride and mother outfit
Tell your daughter in law to go to ……….
Besides making incredibly dated/slightly creepy comments about how the mothers of the brides/grooms look so young he couldn't pick them out amongst the group... what exactly does Dante *do*? 🤔
EDIT: and the... odd... dancing with grandmas, which is somehow worse than the creepy comments 😬
EDIT 2: ahhh. He's the husband. Family business.
She's not wearing a mini dress for god's sakes.
I don't get it, who is getting married? What is all about?
While I really am of the opinion that at a wedding the bride and the groom should be in the center of attention - and not the bride's mum - I really wonder how big the religious scissors in the kids' heads are already!
Nerdy kids,man
I will be the emotional mother of the bride to when my daugther gets married
That blue dress with the bolero is modest enough and I m a modest lady myself
I married in a strapless myself but sjawl for the ceremony
I just don’t get this show. It appears to be “try on three totally different dresses and hate them, then choose a random fourth dress and love it” There is no sort of rational progression like the wedding dress shows, and the “consultants” seem to HATE the customers. This is a human interest show with a background of fashion that lacks human warmth and is full of dresses that deserve to be piled up and burned.
I think that this is the best bit of television review I have ever seen. Why is this only airing now? Isn’t it from ten years ago.
How old is this, geez, old fashioned, yuk
The dresses are awful
