I still prefer jetsurf, and maybe the new jetsurf with handle bars is the new way to the jetsurf... I think that the worst point of the jetsurf is the weight. There is a brand that you know (esurf) that is very light and it would be almost perfect, but its not cheap... The price is another important point. This season you should compare the new boards on the market (price, weight, safe or risk points), all of them: jetboards, efoil, boards with handle bars... We cant wait to see it! Keep on doing videos!❤

Gen2 seems like a winner in terms of weight. so far Fliteboard only can compare with ultra 2 and nano?

I have seen more foil and foil prop injuries than blunt jetboard injuries, although foil jets and blunter foils can help prevent that.
Unfortunately no, i talked to many dealers, the split is 90-10 this year for efoils. It was 60-40 just few years ago. But yes i agree a lot more injuries with open props, wings, and efoils in general are more risky 100%

MotoSurf Phase 3 ushers in the next generation of JetBoards. Factory in USA. Designed to be both “easy to use” and “easy to own” (which currently doesn’t exist). The sport is growing as demonstrated with its inclusion as a permanent sport in the World Games. Engineering a foil board is easy. Engineering a successful jetboard seems near impossible as demonstrated by the ones that couldn’t get it right. The demand is there, the engineering to help grow the sport even bigger will be coming from MotoSurf.

Hi Mike and congratulations for this channel. In the meantime that new equipment comes out on the market, maybe you could look for and give space to those who have made a DIY project explaining the problems they had and how they overcame them. Maybe with interviews and tests in the water if in your area or remote interviews. Ths is just a suggestion that I hope will inspire you. A big greeting from Italy :)

Do you still own a JetSurf? Looking forward to Garner and Lundquist's electric Motosurf Phase 3! According to Whoop, I get a much better workout on a Jetsurf compared to a Foildrive! But I don't have nice swells either... Hope you can review Jetsurf Ski!
Motosurf seems version 3 of ewave? I switched fully to foiling last year after 7 seasons with jetsurf. I had knee issues and bumping on the surface with jetsurf is not recommended for me. Foiling is softer ride.
Motosurf is not version 3 of ewave 😂😂😂 it’s made in the USA full new production facility. The only component on the whole board that’s similar is the battery so that people that had an ewave can use their old batteries as spares. Motosurf changes the game. Maybe you should talk to them so you can get informed. 😂😂😂😂 you’ve been out of it for a while. 9 new brands this year alone. Uim new manufacturers counsel, motorized surfing in the world games this year. Recognized by the world Olympic Committee 😂😂😂😂😂 catch up Mike you’re out of touch. It’s ok to enjoy foiling. But don’t pretend to know what’s happening in the world of motorized surfboards. Supercar Blondie just did a video this month on motorized surfing that got over 100M views.

Has there been a comparison between the foil drive and and foil for people who don’t live near a sea with swells to catch, with companies like waydoo amd sifly the prices between exfoliating and foil drive are about the same
You can efoil around on foildrive and pump on the lake, check wake thief’s channel. Regular efoils are too heavy for pumping (except Ultra)
What is the motor position?
About 20 cm under. This allows me to efoil around

I hope one day they visit Europe! I’m highly sceptical on that brand and their shady marketing with unsustainable bold claims of superiority to fliteboard

@@Libertyforall1776 i dont think they are truly interested in independent testing. Their indiegogo campaign runs since 2022. In more than 2 years they never reached not just me, but anybody in the efoiling industry to test it. And when last year I asked to test they rudely replied "go buy it with a link to indiegogo"...
@@JetSurfingNation well somebody who is doing Efoil reviews for a business should seriously just buy one and test it, I guess the cost is a business right off. forget about all their hype…

I do buy some products like jetsurf, lift, foildrive just for myself but i am not a dealer or reseller of anything. Totally passionate fan. My business has nothing to do with watersports, i am a game and software developer
Could you maybe compare stoke and foildrive? Stoke is way cheaper and looks easier to install..
The version of stoke i tried is uncomfortable unfortunately… i would not say more. Easier to install - that's not what you are looking for in a system like foil assist. You are looking for best performance, light weight, longer riding time and less drag. FD2 wins in every category...

Hi Steve.. You are rude for no reason.. what 9 brands are you talking about? All i see that industry veterans go out of business, onean carver, radinn.. there is no community of jetboard users at all.. all went into efoils. I hope you succeed with motosurf. Also you literally called it phase 3 while ewave was v2, so it’s natural to assume it’s the next generation of the board.

Have you reached out to Frank and Emily the owners of ewave USA or Martin with motosurf World Cup, or Mr. Lee of the world Games, or Mike from Motosurf Nation. The first half of your video is saying that there is nobody left in Motorized surfing. A lot of the original players like Tiger from Ewave have new products coming out every year. Jetsurf has their electric 2 and their electric stand up. In the motoelectric racing series in China they just added 5 new brands. So it’s not just Ewave running Asian racing by itself. Now 6 brands in that racing league. For a person that grew to the following you have with a huge part of it being from the motorized surfing world maybe you shouldn’t discredit its existence in this industry right now so much. Fliteboard was purchased by Brunswick Corporation. So they are the first to be backed by a real trillion dollar company. But foils are so much easier and cheaper to make than jet boards. So of course they’ll reach the masses quicker. Off every foil sold the margins are 3X that of a jetboard. More money for marketing and more money for corporate security. But wait until you see one real brand hit. Foils can only be foils. Jet boards can be Jetboards,foils,open water rescue boards, over land flood rescue boards, lifeguard aids, and more. It’s just hard for these companies to break through. Go talk to Dana Lundquist at motosurf about it. There was a great interview on this exact thing. But we understand if jetboards aren’t for you anymore. Just seems like you’re doing that industry dirty. Ps motosurf has wheels so you don’t have to carry it. Foils should think about wheels so you don’t have to carry that 13kg. Looks uncomfortable and awkward. Cheers.

I dont think jetboards will completely disappear but we have to admit that market is dominated by efoils for several years. I hope you succeed with Motosurf! There is still a big market for it.
@Jetsurfingnation I 100% agree that since 2019 when Foils came out that they have been the more popular product. But there are peaks and valleys in our industry on both sides and both sides have stayed consistent over this time. It’s irresponsible of media outlet such as yours to take a stand that the community doesn’t exist anymore when it’s in the same position it was in for the last five years. Understandingly foiling has grown fast over the last five years and so it’s over shadowing the slow growth of motorized surfing industry. But it’s still alive and strong. It’s growing slow but steadily. When you were just starting off with no following and passionate about motorized surfing, you understood that motorized surfing was a niche market. Now that foiling and your page are mainstream and you’ve lost your passion for motorized surfing, it doesn’t seem like you’re capable of viewing the motorized surfing industry from the point of the niche market that it’s always been and slowly growing out of. More motorized surfboards were sold last year than any year before! Yes 10X the foils were sold. But the sport of motorized surfing is at a global all time high.
Steve, I hope you make another type of "Gimme that Juice" Jetsurf video with Motosurf! Great promotional video! I think you're on right track with making reliability a high priority. Too many people have said about JetSurfs "Awesome, but you got to love to wrench on that thing". Or at the beach, guys are concerned about how much and how hard to keep running.
