We took Zeb and Erol to a competition together! I thought it would be a very long time before I could take my oldest horse and youngest horse to a competition together!
We headed to a dressage competition at Wellington and had a great day with both horses! Erol's first time at Wellington for a dressage competition and he was very well behaved and really tried! Zeb was super as always and was very happy to be back out at a competition!

Well what a wonderful result for both Errol and Zeb, Errol after a bit of mischief, just looked so good in the dressage ring, and to come 2nd out of 35 Ashley, that is a a tremendous achievement, given as you say, he has only done a handful of competitions, as he grows, this lad is going to be one to watch, so happy for you all.
Zeb is just sublime, I don't know why the judges do not like him, he to my non dressage knowledge brain, always looks smooth and fluent, perhaps one day when you have a mo, could you explain why you think the judges are so harsh on him Ashley please.
Lovely to have Harry and his predictions, every time he is on the Vlogs he makes me giggle. Well done to Zeb for coming a respectable 3rd bless him.

Erol and Zeb were superstars. What a lovely stress free day. Two solid tests. A good cup coffee. Everyone (two and four legged) seemed to enjoy that day. 👏👏 Zebs spots in coat growing in… he’s going for cheetah print this spring instead of zebra stripes. Mixing it up a bit😂

Poor Zeb, you'd better take him on a nice fun XC hack to make up for going all that way for just dressage. Even though he's not the dressagemaster, I do love to watch his extended trot, he really gets those front legs out there. After a brief tantrum, Erol did such a good job, just needed to think about that scary...whatever! Great riding on 2 well-trained horses, congrats on the rosettes!

Well done. Both horses looked great. Erol looks like he understands his work now and is a handsome boy. Zeb just carries himself so well. His tail is up and he always looks so proud to be ridden by you. Glorious to watch a mature horse loving his work. None of this would be possible without your riding skills. You always make it look so easy when we all know it really isn't. Lovely to watch. Your vlogs really make my Sunday.😊

68 is a super respectable score for a young horse in a strictly dressage test! I do believe judges at eventing are a bit more generous with scoring than your plain old dressage judge so keep that in mind too.
