This transcends hobby and goes straight to masterful artistry. Well done! I hope one day I can come close to these kinds of results.
I usually don't comment on people's videos on being good. But this time. This time I will. The fact that your showing is painting the monitors, whilst explains what's going on and showing the wet pallet at the top right of the screen is extremely helpful. Thankyou
Love the idea of using pink. I often use blues and purples to shade. Will definitely try this out. Thanks Angel
This is the coolest way ive seen on how to paint black armour! Im gona try it on my next project just love the colours in it!!🎉
Thank you for this! I learned a few things from this video like using pink to highlight black. You the man!
I learned lots a new things watching this, and it just so happens im painting up my sisters.. subbed!
Great stuff, I love the tonal variation in the armour!
This was great!
Im a lifelong 28mm painter and this guy is feeding me sooo much new ideas...amazing!
Loving this scheme. I am going to try it out for the next black armour that I paint.
Love to hear how you paint. Great work!
Gracias por el tutorial! Grande Ángel!
I'm looking forward to trying to learn these methods. Thank you.
Love how you demonstrate with vallejo paint!! That could save me huge sum of money. Great video thanks!
Yes finally in English 👍👍
Super cool, many useful tips, thanks a lot
Muy chulo, uno de los videos más útiles en youtube 👌🏻
Your presentation style is extremely satisfying, great video!
English voiceover! thank you man!
Beautiful, I do not play 40k but I do like sisters.
Super cool!
Excellent video!
Angel is a master painter
Mega talented
Thank you Angel for another great video! Two quick feedback thoughts. You mentioned that we should pay close attention to where you put the highlights, but then you skipped over highlighting the backpack, so we didn't get to see how you did that piece.
Also, I would have really liked to have seen you do the base. Especially with the candles. But even so, great video and thank you!
Les cheveux sont super bien fait ^^ ^^
Great tutorial! you are really the master! im so glad to see this video!
again amazing video thank you
I am planning on doing an alternate scheme for my Sisters. The color for the Order of the Thorn. More of a bone colored armor with drak red/black cloth. Any recommendations on colors to use?
If you wanted to do purple cloth rather than red, would the pink and yellow highlight additions still work as intended? Purple obviously has red in it, but I'm uncertain if you will get any strange values in their contrast.
Nice work. For those who do not or cannot afford an airbrush, what are the tips to keep in mind when looking at light source? Should we always try to break the model parts into basic shapes when highlighting? Like cubes or spheres for example.
Also, does adding glaze medium instead of water to the ink change any of the properties? Like more satin finish?
Thanks for this Video. I don't have any Panzer colors, what would you suggest as a replacement for Periscope? On the video the red seems a little subdued to me. What adjustments would you make for a brighter red? Thanks again.
mrhobbitino if you don't have the Periscope, you can make a mix of turquoise + dark prussian blue.
About of red, you have to use a warm red and the hightlight with orange 🤗
Just watched this video, my first on your channel. Now I am off to binge the rest of them. I love you black recipe, would love to see how you do white
Mighty Qwan thanks! If you can share my channel, it would help me a lot 🙏🏻
Very cool.
How you manage to paint all this time with brush bristle so sharp and pointy? I think I never painted with so sharp brush, every single one of them mess up even tho I’m cleaning them properly, take small amount of paint and preserve them after painting :-(
Beautiful
Going to have to try this on my Nagash miniature im working on ^_^
What is the ratio of water to paint that you use? The paint comes off the brush very easily, but looks thick while on the pallette.
Cool, I'm just starting my Zombicide Invader Ops Characters, which will be much the same in colors you are using here. Thanks for some great pointers.
Great detail and explanations for painting miniatures!!
Hey man, if I see you talking to me with that accent in Goblin Trader I'm callin' the Guardia Civil ! Thanks for this. I'm getting my box at the weekend and will be painting them ALL to look like ex UK Prime Minister Thereasa May. (hey they're my figures !).
yessssssssssssss
damn mate you only just popped up on my youtube....i love this tutorial its really helpfull
why do you decided to go without an airbrush this time?
and another question. in your 2nd book you paint a leather coat with the stipping technic. would you take the same colors you took for the "clean" red here to stip them?
I think it's because the surfaces here are very small and uneven. You would have to mask or re-apply base colours which add extra time. Just my guess :)
I used a brush because many painters don't have an airbrush and I want to offer different contents, so my subscribers are happy :)
and your second question, YES, I'll use the same colors, the process is the same
@@AngelGiraldeZ This might be a good topic to do a video on. Can you either one at any time, is one better on some subjects, ect.
Waw !!! tengo un pequeño canal de YT tratando de compatir nuesta pasión ... Los haces tanto mejor ! Muchas gracias por todo lo que haces ! (lo siento para mi castellano soy un poco oxidado ^^)
PankakeStudio no problem with your Spanish , I understand English🤗, which is your channel?
@@AngelGiraldeZ I don't know if it's a good idea you look at it ! I mean, i'm not a very good painter ... But always looking to learn from the bests ^^ ... here it is anyway czcams.com/users/PankakeStudio.
For the red clothes, do you think it's possible to go more deeper in the violet tones ?
@@Max0oh Nice channel and your paintjobs are good, you have to be happy. Yes, but you have to add a dark violet
best video yet! looks awesome so far.
I was hoping to get an airbrush for Black Friday but could not find any deals on the H&S infinity cr plus in the USA :(
maybe ill just get one anyway.
Millek L thanks!!! I didn't get some sponsors/stores in the USA, I have many american subscribers and I want to offer some discounts there but I'm Spanish... and I need more support to get a store there
pregunta, que tipo de pincel es este 2:38 ?
so basically you are just increasing whites into layers with its base tones untill it gets lighter and lighter then use white in some high lighted areas?
yes but I don't use white, you have to use sunny skin tone or ice yellow, if you use white, you desaturate the color
@@AngelGiraldeZ ah yes, I think I did hear you mention that. what if its for different colour skin types like greens and purples? would you still go into a yellow for a sun look on the minis or would you do a different green tone?
Props for not using those expensive, overpriced yet inconsistent GW colors.
I'm getting the miniature tomorrow, it'll be my very first time painting. I used your video as a starting point for selecting colours. Can you share a picture of the final result?
@@AngelGiraldeZhi, umm this might be weird. Can I buy the unfinished model? Seeing your WIP in person would help me grow at this point!
Pink to highlight black is 100D chess.
Your video is very good,I love it very much, and I have a question for you:how to paint and highlight the bolt gun using the same colour scheme as the armour does?
dq R the process is the same, Soon I'll record a video where I'll explain how to apply the lights and shadows
I have big problems to see "black" so typically I paint dark blue armour but your tips are always so enlightening!
Say it looks cool again, Tom Schadle.
Could you use your airbrush techniques for the armour?
yes I can but I want to offer videos with the airbrush and videos with the brush :)
Cool. I watched your airbrush videos and have some SOB to paint - hopefully with those techniques 😊
are you also going to do the other Sisterhood Color Scheme? Order of the Sacred Rose, Ebon Chalice and so on?
How long does it take to paint 2.000 Points... 5 or 10 Years? 😉
My AG team can paint an army in 2 months :) (high quality), we paint many miniatures per month for Malifaux ,Infinity, Cmon, Mantic, etc...😏
Hard to see on black
Don’t try this at home, unless you are Angel
is this video dubbed?
Not really rose, more like grey
Aside from the lack of proper verb use and the occassional dropped noun in his sentences, there are some great tips in this.
If this is supposed to be a tutorial. Why Use Speed Up Footage?!!?
At least finish painting the entire model, smh.
@@AngelGiraldeZ the video?
One would guess that in a video titled, "How to paint Sisters of Battle", you'd see the whole thing done. The red robes do look nice, and demonstrating that could be its own accurately titled video. You might as well re-title this video.
@@itube141 Are you serious? He demonstrates really high level techniques on how to paint many parts of the miniature, spent hours compiling TWO separate videos in two different languages and yet you still aren't satisfied? SMH at you.
