The sun will not become a black hole. This is because, as a star, the sun is too small and does not produce enough gravity to cause such an astronomical event. Stars that are larger than the sun will explode as supernovas before collapsing into black holes, objects with such a strong gravity that nothing (including light) can escape them.
The sun will end up as a white dwarf - a remnant of a star that is small, dense and shining because of the heat that remains.
