Why would they pass on him just to get winger who has raised his draft stock during a tourney. Wright fits Montreal better and slavkovsky might of not even go second if the devils didn’t get the 2nd overall. Devils don’t a c they need a w. Plus IMO Cooley has better potential.
@@seangodbold8560 You are wrong. NJD will want to draft Slafkovsky not just because he is a good player, but because he has a good Synergy with Tatar. Him getting drafted 2nd might help the Devils create a new Slovak forwards combo.

@@milanmolnar5231 Slafkovsky is a skilled player but he is a winger , Wright is a center and he can play as well offensively and defensively, he may not be as spectacular as Slafkovsky but he is more efficient and he is a better all around player.We could comapare them to Ovechkin and Crosby, OV is a pure goal scorer but that's all that he does but Crosby can score goals , he is a playmaker he will win important faceoffs and play big minutes on the pk. even if Juraj was Canadian he would still end up going 2nd.

Ok so lets talk, Wright is for sure great all round player and Canadiens need center that is a fact, but with skill like Slafkovsky has, he can easily be superstar player in NHL in few years time and I think even Canadiens would consider him even as a winger because if he was Canadian, he would be sooo hyped all around Northern America. I have no doubt Shane will be top player in NHL, but I would say there is A LOT higher celling for Juraj and if he reches just like 90% of that he could be main star in almost any NHL team (maybe excluding teams with McDavid and some others)

Kazakhstan has already officially lost its chances for the playoff... It was obvious already from the first game with Denmark (1-9). Now their main match is with Italy!

Nothing against Italy but I hope Kazakhstan will stay at the WC, they deserve it. Last year they almost made it to play-offs for the first time and now they're playing impressively in Finland too

@@It-s-me-P Wrighta som hrať nevidel, to je pravda. Slafkovský hrá mužskú kategóriu a Wright nie. To je pravda tiež. Je tam rozdielový hráč. Či to bolo v Turku, na ZOH alebo teraz na MS. Niektorí hovorili, že ZOH bola náhoda na MS už taký produktívny nebude. Aká je realita? 6 zápasov, 7 bodov. Tu nejde len o body, ale aj o celkový herný prejav. Že by mala akákoľvek kanadská juniorka vyššiu úroveň ako MS, ZOH alebo fínska liga, si nemyslím. To by Kanada asi neposielala na MS hráčov z NHL, ale stačili by jej hráči z juniorských líg. Beriem, že MTL je kanadský klub original six a zoberie Wrighta. To je isté na 90%+. "Kanaďania" si vyberú Kanaďana. NHL je biznis a ide tam aj o PR. Možno, ak by vyberal prvý nejaký "novší" americký klub, nebolo by to také isté. Slafkovský bude s najväčšou pravdepodobnosťou dvojka. To ale neznamená, že Wright je lepší. Valábik môj názor neovplyvnil. Všimol som si to už skôr.

O nom sa hovorilo ako o jednotke uz pred rokom, Slavkovský sa vyšvihol posledne Slavkovský je risk pre nich. Tam nejde len o to ze Wright je Kanadan, ale aj o to ze manazer si na krk nezoberie prvý top draft pick Montrealu po asi 3 desaťročiach aby preskočil hráča čo skauti aj ludia co fandia Montrealu hovoria ze je najlepší.

Ну вот и все конец казахстанского хоккея фиаско налицо и не компетентность тренера махнул на все а ведь поменяй шутова может быть и была ещё надежда на положительный результат ставка на шутова провалилась полностью хороший но тупой лежит на щитках и не успевает встать и отсюда голы порой ненужные в матче со словакией подвёл аккользин ничего ни сделал и дитц так что победный матч закончился крахом надежд для всего Казахстана и в этом главная вина тренера михайлиса делал все чтоб уничтожить хоккей казахстана фиаско в кхл и на чемпионате мира при чемпионате Казахстана и молодёжном чемпионате и на детском уровне показал что не работает федерация хоккея а ведь у нас есть и тренера и хоккеисты которые могли встать во главе !!!!!!

Наврятли с такой защитой по любому пропустили бы, дело было времени, один Слафковский издевался над обороной как хотел, какая тут победа одно радует, что постепенно начинают наигрыватся, хотя они должны были этим занятся до ЧМ, если соперник не может забить, то наши игроки сами привезут гол в свои ворота, первый гол Асетов накосячил, 2, 3 гол Акользин, хотя могли дать 2 минуты ему, но всетаки дело не в этом, с такой защитой все равно словаки отгрузили бы нам несколько шайб, скорости нет у наших, провели 5 матчей и во всех матчах уступали в скоростях, в точности передач, о защите молчу там вообще полная жопа, как будто не сборная играет, а ребята со двора решили поиграть хоккей с профи других стран

You could say the same about the 2 penalties done by Pospisil. There's no reason to speculate about that, it's the beauty of the sport
Same with 2 penalties for Pospisil. And like the guy above said, it would have been a minor anyway, so it would be a goal for Fehervary. Slovaks also wouldnt lose theire pace in the 3rd period.

Why the official played the Slovakian national anthem in the end while forcing the losing team Kazakhstan to stand and watch Slovakian sing and celebrate.
And the official also played today "We are Germans" (Das ist Deausch) whenever the German team scores, and not play "Men Qazaqpyn" (I am the Kazakh) whenever the Kazakh team scores?

Slafkovsky is a great prospect. I would still rather Wright, Cooley, Nemec and Jiricek over him. To say he should go #1 is absurdity.
