Amy Smith, I do not expect many people to know about this because history books about the Philippines were authored by Filipinos who were tutored by the Americans. May I suggest you also research on the Bell Trade Act of 1946 and you will get a glimpse on how America treated her "little brown brothers."

I first got a glimpse of the story on how the americans actually treated the filipinos in a movie entitled Sacay or Sakay staged by UP way back in the 90's. The book and movie that led to all history books authored by Zaide who is a filipino but pro american to be removed from all schools and not to be used as the textbooks in schools. Im just glad the history books were changed.

Because of tatay Digong, most of us who do not care about our history anymore and who have lost that sense of patriotism are somewhat getting back to the road of defending our own country and that sense of patriotism is being stirred within again. Let us hope and pray that our president live a longer, healthier life and continue to lead the nation. I just hope that all errors in history be finally corrected such as the edsa revolution which placed the aquinos on limelight being heroes of the nation instead of being the people who sold part of the philippines ans stole so much from the Philippines and they continue to be a disgrace to our country.

Spania din naman ang original na may ari ng kampana sila ang nagtayo ng mga simbahan nagpaganda sa ibat ibang probensya ng Pilipinas. Kaya nagka enteres ang Amirekano sa Pilipinas dahil maganda ang Pilipinas.Kung wala sana rebulosyon nangyari e napakaganda at maunlad ang Pilipinas ngayon. Sa madaling salita kung hinid sana tayo sinakop ng Amerikano hindi masisira ang Pilipinas dahil Spania ang namamahala. Sana e preserve nyo na ang mga lugar at gagawing historic town ang lahat ng lugar na pinapakialaman ng mga kano at kung May tourista e package nyo na ma dala sa tour guide para magkapera ang gobyerno ng pinas. Gagawa din kayo ng water taxi katulad sa Chicago na ang mga torista magbayad sasakay sa malaking water taxi paikot sa syudad. Pwede naman dyan ang pasig river pag maganda na at e relocate ng apartment ang mga tao. Ang gobyerno dapat gagawa ng apartment para sa mga walang bahay at paupahan ng mura lang.
