originally I thought the ending with the world on fire was just meant to be funny but the true ending made me realize it was a symbol of the father and son’s situation. the son gets really hot and everything around him is on fire but the father chooses to ignore it and say that it’s fine, similarly to how he ignores his own grief after the loss of his wife which just further isolates his son. this was a really charming and heartfelt game. I love how it mixed comedy with emotion

That very last ending bro hit me in the feels 😭😭I haven't experienced losing a loved one before and only went to funerals of people who the people I knew lost like my preschool teacher whose husband passed away. I still cried at the funeral even though I didn't know her husband or even met him, just cried because of her and the rest of my family crying, and I had the fear that eventually I would lose someone I care about in the future. But to the people who did lose a loved one, it must be hard dealing with them not being around, that person who is now a precious memory, especially if it was unexpected and you couldn't say everything you wanted or goodbye to them before they passed away. My condolences to everyone who lost a person they cared about, it must be really tough to get over it and move on
