Do the honda crv require a certain wiper blade since washer nozzle is in the arm

Great question! Honda did a very good job at cutting costs on wiper replacements. You don't have to replace the entire wiper, you just have to replace the rubber inserts. This way, the replacement is much cheaper and easier than replacing the wipers. Please make sure that no other mechanic, tech, or shop tries to replace your actual wiper blades. It's only the rubber. Thanks for watching!

No. On ALL new CR-V's you can no longer just get inserts.@@HoodSlappersOfficial

How do you return the wiper to its original position?

Great question. When you’re done just tap the wiper stick as you would to wipe the windows once. This will retune them to their normal position.
      Thanks for watching.

    Doesn’t work on a 2017 crv 😮

This is only a feature on the newest generation CRV starting in 2023. On your 2017, you can just lift the windscreen wipers without putting them in service mode.

Now how do you remove the wiper blades. Lol

We will have to make another episode. The good news is that Honda only requires the rubber to be replaced and not the entire wiper blade. Stay tuned.

Only older generations of the honda crv, don’t need to it

Yes you are correct. This is a newer thing for Honda to assist with aerodynamics.
      Thanks for watching.

I have a Honda CRV tip too: how to increase the top speed… mount a sail on the roof 🤓
