Combat Engineers on the front lines, (under the U.S. Army Corps) built 33 bridges in 6 weeks in 1944 in Italy. They also did a great job with the restoration of north Beach Maryland from 1998-2021. This group gets the job done! They make it happen.

Use ferry boats like the old Southern Pacific Railroad San Francisco Bay ferry boats.

      * Originally Western Pacific. The Las Plumas was a very nice craft.

This bridge has 35 thousand cars going across each day.

Use ferry boats instead of bridges.

Waiting on the preliminary report from the NTSB today.
The weather is overcast with mist and sprinkles so it's
not likely that your going to see any action on site.
All 4.6 thousand peeps looking on here need to know that
WE ARE IN A CRISIS EVERY DAY THAT THE CHANNEL IS
CLOSED TO SHIPPING. There's only 1 channel! Those other states like Michigan and
FL had bridge collapses BUT THEY WASN'T BLOCKING A
MAJOR SHIPPING CHANNEL. And Baltimore didn't have anything
going for itself before this crisis so its impactful far beyond what
Gov. Moore knows and will admit. This cleanup been slow rolled
right from the beginning and that vessel is not grounded or stuck
in the mud like they been characterizing it. THE SHIP HAS BEEN
HELD DOWN BY CABLES ON THE STERN TO KEEP IT FROM SWINGING
AROUND FREELY WITH THE WIND AND TIDE AND CURRENT. And
the Unified Command keeps mischaracterizing things like this is the
most unprecedented and complicated 'mangled mess stuck below the mud
line' as far down as the Abyssal Plain that only Jacques Cuossou can get to.
These people on the Unified Command gotta be retired out cuz they
can't be trusted to communicate the truth to a Commander who is
depending on a fair assessment of what they got if they was
    ever sent into the field.
