You couldn't be more specific . you removed the frustration and of previous video taking me for a ride...Thank you..
just replaced intake manifold on my 2000 e250, you gave me a good start on getting this brake booster hose put back in the right place. thanks!
Got more videos that might help you in the future
@@HorsepowerHouse I'll check you out on that, got this thing running like a top after I figured out where that booster hose went. Thanks a bunch!
Was no direct answer I could find either. Till your video. Directly answers my question. Thanks
Thanks, I'm switching from manual brakes to power and wasn't sure where to go with the hose. Saved me time

Great video
My 69 Eldo that i just received a reman Rochester Q jet didn't have a rear port, like my crappy old carb, it has a indentation like its saying
"Drill here"""
So wondering if it should be drilled or swapped
Thanks again
Sure you can drill and tap it.
Watching this because the brake booster on my 302 ford is ran directly to the left bank valve cover and it doesn't seem quite right.
@@sambrandt4755 not enough vacuum there.
ok nice, so originally mine had a metal piping that went from the carburetor to the brake booster. but it snapped, can i just find fitting that fits that back plug and put a hose over it? it could save me some money and time.
Mine did the same thing on a 85 chevy c 10 I'm currently trying to find the vacuum hose and fitting for mine.
There are all kinds of fittings for these pieces. Usually brass or other metals. You need to know what size to get though. And they vary from model to model. It takes some investigating first.
@@airsupremacy6137 yea i just stopped by a oreilys today and picked up a fitting that i could just put a hose on and run it to the filter for the brake booster. just take the car up there and find a hose that fits both the filter and the carb fitting.
@@HorsepowerHouse thanks
on my 87 Elco there is a filter looking gizmo in the vacuum line from the one way booster valve to the intake port vacuum connection ..it looks old and tired..is it necessary can i ditch it?
I would replace it. They are available at most parts stores. If you delete it, it will suck in "oily air" from the crankcase into the brake booster. Probably not a good thing.
