- We from Engine Symphony are delighted to have had the opportunity to create a video that captures one of the most iconic cars built by Ferrari, the 308 GTB Vetroresina. The production of the Vetroresina version lasted from 1975 to 1977 with only 712 cars being built.

La 308 unica e inimitabile con quel suo V8 dal suono originale diverso da tutti gli 8 cilindri, senz'altro più "maschio" e cattivo unita a quella sonorità rauca dei 4 carburatori doppio corpo, davvero irresistibile. Ci si lascia prendere la mano e il filmato lo dimostra, poi col vetroresina i 255 cavalli vengono esaltati dalla leggerezza complessiva della vettura.
Vettura magnifica. Ho avuto, all'epoca,il privilegio di guidare una versione con carrozzeria in acciaio, la versione dell'80' con lo scarico mono-tubo, un po' meno leggera ugualmente con grinta e cattiveria da vendere. Ricordo benissimo quel rauco dei carburatori, che nel video si sente piuttosto bene, che ti riempiva il cervello fino ad ipnotizzarti, allo stordimento. Si badi bene una sensazione bellissima, nonostante non fosse certo riposante Priva di ogni tipo di servocomando, esigeva una buona fisicità per essere guidata. Ed era giusto così. Non certo per mezze cartucce.
Al giorno d'oggi i moderni "drivers" non resisterebbero mezza giornata...

I owned the steel-bodied version of this car. Blew the snot out of any of the fuel injected cars, including a 328 GTS I also owned.
Would look better with the pods down...308 series, the 512bb the 400s manuals brilliant stuff! Now two pedals and paddles and stupid buttons.

Mine had a single exhaust pipe. Wish ide kept it many years ago. Have a 328 gts now. Its ok. Not quite the same.
