1:54 just a warning, there’s some horse ab_se in this and it’s kinda long so I rescued a horse from a “friend” of a friend, who bred horses but was abusive and only cared about the money, not the horses, she was pregnant and he abused her horribly, when i rescued her she was absolutely petrified of me, wouldn’t even look at me. i worked everyday trying to get her to trust me atleast well enough to deliver her foal. (i delivered her foal about a week later) and since then i worked soo hard trying to get a bridle/halter on her, when i finally did she became a bit more trusting with me it seemed, until my cousin who was psychotic about horses, thought she was rideable, and tried to mount her, but for some reason Promise (the horses name) was actually really really chill with her, she didn’t like being ridden but she didn’t mind it as bad. that’s when i realized she’d be an amazing horse for when me and my family host a pony/horse camp for kids to come in and have fun with horses and stuff? it’s been 2 years since then and shes doing much much better now, and i’m proud to say she is my horse, and i do liberty and bareback with her :)

It will entirely bond with them - Bareback! use a halter and a lead rope as the bridle :) - Trust, you trust them, they’ll trust you !! - Grooming/brushing them, will just give you and the horse an amazing bond, entirely!

Otherwise unless your incredibly persistent and stupid, the horse will just put its foot down, if the horse kicks at you, you’re doing something seriously wrong, or the horse would have an irritation which would be something to check. But otherwise the horse should be completely fine, they get uncomfortable they put their foot down, simple.
For the ice in the hoof, take him to a large, indoor building and soak it in saltwater then just remember to put nonstick cooking spray in and around his hooves next time
theres also these pads called "snow pads" that you can ask your farrier to put on your horse. they prevent snow and mud build up getting stuck to the hoof.
That one with the horses hooves going far forward, it’s a show with Tennessee walkers. It’s a chemical people use on their hooves and it hurts every time they step to the lift up their feet higher. If people get caught putting to much to the point the can barely stand, they’ll be arrested and the horse would get special treatment.

If it goes on for far too long their necks will be stuck in a curl which is very painful.

I'm not saying dressage is always bad, but often it's quite abusive, which is why I prefer not to ride dressage
The head position can be unnatural, but only if over bent, being below the pole can cause damage in the long run and can also affect what they can see/ where they can see, having the head down is a good thing if done correctly, it improves top line aswell but there are other things to improve that 😀
If done right dressage can be very beneficial to the horse to help build up the correct muscles. I will agree thought that some people don’t train it right can cause way more damage, but that is why it is important to find the right trainer to teach it right.

Dressage can really help the horse improve their top line, building correct muscles and become more supple among other things. There's a plethora of great information to learn all of this online and with a good instructor in the right way. For example western sports for many years have had a bad rep for abuse but that doesn't mean doing western sports is bad. The horse I ride absolutely LOVES doing dressage, you can see it from a mile away with his body language and eager attitude - he's 29 years old and he's in such great health. Saying its unnatural would be an inane argument since you could say any equestrian sports is unnatural. People say riding horses is unnatural. What makes something abuse is if it is causing the horse harm, physically or emotionally.
