Pierce was born to play Bond. Such a great performance throughout. Dalton is still my ultimate favourite though
That is rather seldom. Dalton seems not 100% familiar with the role. But Brosnan is.
@@ooops372 i think Dalton knew exactly what he was doing. He had read the books beforehand and had really considered the character. Both his movies are in my top 3
@@Mark-lj1dj His mimics sometimes do not fit. Those scenes in production were not enough repeated. And he even has a receding hairline in the 2nd movie which even I did not notice first. All other actors had good and plenty of full hair, giving them a viril look, and Connery therefore had to wear a wig from the beginning on to cover that only imperfection of his.

@@ooops372 "dalton seems not"? He literally understood the assignment than anyone else who have played bond. Like only few people know how bond behaves and it's not like in one of the movies and dalton was the only one who pulled it off
After watching all 25 Bond movies across a couple of weeks I must say that Pierce Brosnan truly is James Bond
He embodies everything about the character so well and even though Timothy Dalton is probably the most Fleming Bond, Brosnan is the best screen Bond

This movie introduced me to the treasure that is Michelle Yeoh.
Same here, lol. I was eager for this movie because of Teri Hatcher who I'd been crushing on as a pimpley teenage boy because she was in my favourite show (The New Adventures of Lois & Clark). Then I saw Michelle and the rest was history.
One of the series best female characters.
Don't know why so many fans dislike this movie.

Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies easily two of my top favorites, perhaps just due to my age though. Never saw Goldeneye in Theaters but played the heck out of the N64 game back in 1998 and onwards.

I am from Singapore and never a fan of Michelle Yeoh but inexplicably I just love her this role in TND.

I feel like a lot of the Brosnan after Goldeneye just kind of gets forgotten about, which is sad, because this one is also amazing and I actually prefer watching it to Goldeneye as a good action film.
He had this and Goldeneye and then 2 horrible films.

Choosing a singer AFTER the song has been written is somewhat tricky, but in this case she nailed it, especially in the chorus.

Having the lady who song the opening song in Cars baffles my nostalgic brain, but I gotta admit, this song has a sick opening beat.
The original singer was supposed to be k.d. lang, and her song "Surrender" was played in the end credits.
@dr2599 It was the the only thing I knew her for, as Cars was one of the earliest of my childhood movies, and where I first found out her name. Recently I’ve become a Bond fan and was surprised to know that she did a song for one of the movies.
