EIGHT BULLEID LOCOMOTIVES attend the Swanage Railway "Strictly Bulleid II" Event! | 9th June 2024
This was the most amazing event I have seen and considering this hasn't been done for 5 DECADES, it was extremely impressive. However, there weren't just Eight of them, there was 10! Yes, there were eight standard gauge ones and two 7 1/4 inch ones. Thank you and well done to everyone who was volunteering over the weekend and those who organised it at Swanage. You are all legends.

34070/21C170 "Manston" Unrebuilt Battle of Britain Class Light Pacific 7P5FA 4-6-2 Built 1947 Home fleet on long term loan from Southern Locomotives Ltd
34072 "257 Squadron" Unrebuilt Battle of Britain Class Light Pacific 7P5FA 4-6-2 Built 1948 Visiting from the Spa Valley Railway and Southern Locomotives Ltd
34081 "92 Squadron" Unrebuilt Battle of Britain Class Light Pacific 7P5FA 4-6-2 Built 1948 Visiting from the Nene Valley Railway. It had failed on the day I was there.
