I found an Exceed bullet journal notebook at Walmart for like $9.00?! I threw my other notebooks away. No ghosting, no bleeding. The only issue would be the color is a tint yellow? Not a bright white. But if that doesn’t bother you then give it a try! I was shook
I also switched to a moleskine gridded this year!! I’m excited to see how it holds up against my leutrchum dotted. And I have a similar style to you, love to see this content!

The only thing I have against Moleskins is that I used it for my first bullet journal and the whole text block fell off the spine lmao. It might be me but I dunno.
this usually happens when you broke the spine, before you use any book that is bound or a hardcover book you have to bend the spine first. you do so if you put the hardcover of the book down (on a table for ex.) and fold down several pages of each side. if you so this several times you have a bent spine and no pages will fall out. its quite unusual that the whole block fell out, maybe a production mistake. maybe you try another moleskine because despite your experience they are still great notebooks!
i use dingbats!! i don’t see myself ever using a different brand honestly, they’ve lasted so well for me and work perfectly for what i like to do in my journal
hi! i received a dingbats for christmas and it's my first time having one. i used to use moleskine for both my bujos and my sketchbooks, but really fell in love with the dingbats wildlife series when seeing them online and someone offered me the wonderful A5+ forest green/deer one!!! do you have any tips? i still didn't start anything in it because i'm too afraid to mess up this beautiful notebook. i don't know how resistant the paper is to fountain pens ink or painting. what do you use in them?

I completely relate on the year depending on school offers! As a planner its so stressful to not know how your year is going to look like completely ahead of time! Im itching towards my offer date just so I can know!

Sayali Mulye They might have changed paper quality by now but mine couldn’t hold a simple pen without it bleeding through the page, it wouldn’t even take my Crayola super sips. If they changed paper quality I would definitely go back to it but I hated the bleeding so much.

your bullet journal is completely yours and it does not have to follow anyone else's rules! if you want to start in march then go for it. I never follow the "bullet journal rules" do what works for you

i have a scribbles that matter notebook and I bought a pack with 80 markers on amazon and all of them bleed through (its worse than sharpies on regular paper) 😭
Get different markers. I have a stm book I got for Christmas and none of my markers / pens bleed through. I got the zebra doodles like 60 count for $15 Walmart
I'm 100% fine with a Leuchtturm because I don't mind ghosting as long as the ink doesn't bleed through
