Now I'm a MSFS plane asset developer and I can sorta explain what's going on here.
what new developers tend to do (and there's nothing wrong with that in the starting phase of development) is use a template of the DA62 that I assume asobo gives you,
and the template people usually default to using is the Twin Diamond DA62 which has the rotax engine sounds. changing the sound exactly to what you want I don't know how to do,
but what you can do is copy-paste a sound folder from another MSFS plane and overwrite it onto your asset. what I think happened here isa a lazy developer used
the DA62 template and basically just slapped a CL-215 model over the stock DA62 model and didn't bother to change the sounds of the engine nor change it's flight characteristics,
so it will look like CL-215 but have the aerodynamics and engine properties of the DA62.
That's a shame, cause the CL-215 is one of my favorite aircraft

Most planes roll forward in Idle. There is still idle thrust. Especially when light.

@@elliottd323 no you get thrust in a propeller plane aswell but you can adjust the blade feather to reduce forward thrust. If you startup a small Cessna and don't have the parking brake set or foot pressing on the brake you will roll forward.
@@elliottd323 These aren't your typical 180hp Lycoming engines, they are rated at 2100hp each. It's very likely you can have some un-commanded ground roll with engines this powerful, especially if it's lightly loaded.
From what I can see, this desperately needs a CFG edit to modify the idle RPM of the engines. They appear to be actually idling at 3500 RPM since it rolls the minute you turn it on.
This is the most overpriced market in history, FSX itself, which is still good, is for a few dollars less than this. I mean for a few bucks more you can get Hearts of Iron or something
Ikrrr? There are addons out there that cost like 200 bucks! For such a price, I expect the plane to come out of my screen and to fly me to Germany.

you should review the golden airport mod for Minecraft, its maybe one of the best mc airplane mods out there

People either make the Canadair planes really solid addons or not (CRJ was done excellently by the MSFS devs, and then we have this)
the crj was developed by aerosoft the asobo team had nothing to do with it

Idle doesn't mean off its just the minimum rpm needed to keep the engines lit (edit) that is not normal though

That's actually not bad. All the addon planes I've downloaded either had no gauges or levers or the textures were messed up and looked like checkerboard clown plane.
