April Wine has always been one of Canada's top rock bands ,imo . Those were not canada's biggest bands of the 80's .

How could you waste so much time on the hosts of this show and leave out two of the world's best song writing bands of the 1980s: Tom Cochrane with and without Red Rider, and The Box?
Did you even mention Gowan? Saga, for C#@t's sake! Doug and the Slugs was our best live Party band, equaled for fun only by Kim Mitchell, with and without Max Webster. How about our amazing female rockers, like Alana Myles and Sass Jordan? Our stranger, more inventive singers, Jane Siberry and kd lang?! They have all sold well around the world, and certainly reached high up on the Canadian charts. So why not even mention them?

What the hell, no mention of RUSH?? Clearly the biggest act to ever come out of Canada.. Triumph a close second but the rest of these bands are embarrassing

Ian Thomas Band; beyond "Painted Ladies" (from 1973/1974), "Hold On" (covered by Santana in 1982), "The Runner" (covered by Shelia shortly after his original in 1981; Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1984), "Strange Brew" (from his brother Dave's movie in 1983), "Riders On Dark Horses " (the title track from 1984), "Harmony" (from 1985 featuring Dave in the video), "Levity" (from 1988 featuring Ryan Stiles in the video), & "Back To Square One" (the title track; also from 1988). Besides; if it wasn't 4 Ian Thomas exposing PAYOLA back in 1975 bc of "Painted Ladies" charting very low despite HEAVY AIRPLAY deserving of #1, most Canadian musicians wouldn't see the light of day. From where I stand, Ian Thomas is a LEGEND & PIONEER 2 4ever b reckoned with.

Even though Loverboy was multiplatinum in record sales and a top concert draw they were grossly overrated in my opinion. April Wine, Triumph, Streetheart were much better live and on record.

Too much talk from you two, cut the crap and cover the bands more. Many other groups should have been included PRiSM, Toronto, Blue Rodeo etc... & less of your verbal.
