Dug out Wild Wood on CD a few days ago, always loved this song and those days were so happy and carefree. Then caught the year - 1993! omg, this is 30 years old! To put that into context, go back 30 years from performance and you find Beatlemania had not even happened....

I saw him live twice in the past two years and he seems a bit...I don't know, defeated? Don't get me wrogn - I love the guy and have done since my first Jam single. But I guess we all get old eventually.
Doesn't mess around does he Weller? Gets down and delivers the song with soul, passion and gusto. A truly great artist.

Same. The first 5 solo albums are great, but I haven't been into that much since then. The loss of Whitey doesn't help.
Yes. You are right. I think that Paul Weller lost in 2104. But thank God he found it again in 2111 after he had the second head transplant.
