Hi there please go to disputes tribunal against the shipping company. How shocking and sorry to hear that! Also, can your insurance cover it? Sounds like Eli International freight left the keys in the car/caravan...

so any further info about the missing products? I feel like that is shocking for transport between NZ and AUS...
Our shipping agent in Auckland is investigating with the Shipping Company……, however we had to move on
Nothing has changed! I shipped my personal car from Australia to NZ back in the 80's. When the car arrived in NZ, the battery was flat, the ashtrays were full of cigarettes (I don't smoke) and they'd managed to blow the fuses IN MY SPEAKER WIRES!!! It must have been party central. And then the shipping company got really angry at me because they had to push the car off the ship by hand because it wouldn't start.
I'd recommend fitting interior cameras with a good power supply and present the footage to the insurance company when you lodge your claim.

how did you know that the items were confiscated by custom? Try calling them and ask customs for a list of seized items. Your case is the reason why containers were invented.
our caravan is to big for shipping in container
Thieving is a way of life in NZ .
i contacted edi and there cost was more than double everyone else I contacted some companies still try to overcharge people like this company
