    Just 2 days after posting this, they discontinued "grow flow." Was not impressed with that service anyways. I use Surfer SEO only for the content editor because it works. I hope they focus in on that service more instead of trying to be a "do everything" tool.

    Hi David, thanks for sharing the video!
    Tom, co-founder of Surfer here. Regarding your question about our tool's name: initially, it was linked to scraping Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs), leading us to consider 'SERPer.' However, we realized that didn't quite hit the mark. We then thought about the concept of 'surfing' the web, which led to the creation of 'Surfer.' So, it's a blend of SERP analysis and web surfing. Cheers!

    Does Surfer keep track on which keyword to put in H2 vs H3 and how many times?

    • @DavidUtke
      @DavidUtke  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes they do.

    • @ExtaTer

      @@DavidUtke To clarify, Surfer has different keyword counters for H2 and H3? PageOptimizer has a total for both H2 and H3, hence doesn't make difference between them. SEO logic dictates that H2 have more weight than H3 so they should have separate counters for keywords, with H3 possibly 0.

    Im a business owner for a local business who needs to produce about 25 pages of total content for our new website. It’s not a blog, but more informational content. I’m a beginner with SEO, but I’ve checked out chat gpt, koala, and several other writers. Not sure which to use now as there are so many, and everyone recommends different tools.
    Do you think Surfer would be a good choice to produce articles, edit them, and post to our website and possibly benefit from any SEO along with it? Or is Surfer overkill for this case? Thank you

      Sounds like SurferSEO is what you need. I just got hired for a large, award-winning marketing company and they use SurferSEO, so it's definitely good.

      If you have any tips for Surfer I’d appreciate it. If not, good luck in your career

    What does the credits mean? If I pay for a month, is the posts I create unlimited for that month or do I have to wait to earn a credit

    • @DavidUtke
      @DavidUtke  Před 8 měsíci

      You pay for credits and have to use those credit in the month or they expire. I use Surfer SEO every quarter. I sign up for a month then cancel. I'm now only producing 6 blog posts a month roughly so I don't need a monthly subscription.
