as insane amount of work went into this rat rod truck, I personally don't care for Rat Rods but my hat is off for you bud, excellent work, job well done, I know or have an idea about the amount of work that went into getting this vehicle to the stage your at, a lot of one off ideas and a damn fine job, I have built quite a few vehicles myself, none that come close to what you have done but I know how much work goes into building our pride and joy, I can only imagine how many late nights went into building this, I have been there done that, one vehicle that I built for a customer I literally worked 48 hours straight to get it ready for the paint shop to take over, this is bad ass bud!!!!!!!
I'm surprised, (in a good way) that there are still people who can have positive feedback even though they don't care for the finished project. There were many long nights. good thing I don't need to do any body work... Thank you for the kind words.
Sure thing. Here's the next possible build i picked up. facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10209697962819568&set=pb.1044973566.-2207520000.1478192521.&type=3&theater
Awesome! That underslung frame is a very nice touch. I came here because of that ford cab. I am doing a 1947 on full air ride, I love the lines of this body style. Dizzo you did a lot with what you were given. great work
You could have had a $100,000.00 rat rod if you hadn't insisted on doing everything yourself. Best I've seen in a long time, the sport needs more people like you, desperately.
Underslung! I like the upside-down frame! Only seen one other rod built that way, a 27 Dodge (I think) with a 440, in Hot Rod magazine about 20 years ago.
There was alot of creativity involved in this build. Some of it seems to be borne of necessity. I LOVE IT! The hole thing has more personality then all the new car lots combined!
Cool hoodie too. I rode those trucks since I was 13, I'm 44 now. That's one cool ride you built. 46 Ford is nice! The chrome reverse modulator kick down valve does look sic too. Ever plan in selling or trades? If not, you're welcome to place me in a will for a future caretaker, ownership. Lol
I tried building a rat once. I'm good at finding vehicles and parts. Not so good at following thru. I did the funnest part 1st; chopped the top (51 F1) 6 inches! That was cool. Then I got overwhelmed by the amount of work needed, and my lack of skills, tools, money, patience, and ambition. I sold it.
nice job Mr Dizzo ! always been my dream to build a rat rod , workin on a jeep now but who knows maybe some day , thanks for your vid also not a bad job welding you did , i always say my most valuable tools are my mig my press and my torches , if you don't have at least those tools your going to run into one dead end after another ,
This video has been so fun to watch and you have done an excellent job building your rat rod! I am now very tempted to quit my day job and build a rat rod.. Love it man.
BAD ASS BRO! Love the engine choice. Diesel all the way! Great video too, class act, Rod and vid! Building my '69 Pete Rat Rod with an 8v71 DD 2 stroke.
That's awesome brother. I wish I could weld like that. Definitely an interesting engine choice too, it adds to the cool and unique factor. Everyone uses a old gas 6 cylinder or a Chevy 350. The intake manifold is what made me want to watch because I couldn't tell what it was from. Great build man.
This is so cool! I’ve be a searching the internet for inspiration because my dad and I are building a 38 dodge truck into a rat rod, all we have so far is the cab
Motivation will get you a long ways regardless what other people say to do that yourself is skill in its own people don’t understand! Great build and not over done!
let me take a minute to tell you my ignorance. first and foremost this is amazing and the fact that you did all of it on your is just incredible. the frame flip blew my mind as my dad bought his cab seperately from the frame and built his own. i would think buying a frame would be easier but hard to find. he just built his own from scratch. again, blew my mind. and last! i almost commented (thought to myself first) "wow, that dog must really love you to be laying/sleeping there through all that noise and sparks and stuff." then i thought to myself. wait.... he literally just told us "sonic" is deaf LOL jesus...
Needs fuzzy dice.
Great job. Really cool.
Agreed

Thank you for the kind words.
Incredible build! Thank you for documenting and sharing your progress. Was fun and inspiring to watch.
A straight 6 looks so much better in this build. Thank you so much for not going 350 Chevy. Great job 👍🏽
Thanks! i agree
👍👍👍 awesome job man. I love the ratty diesel rods. especially the ones without the typical Cummins swaps.
Very cool build. Nothing like the diesel version of the 280z engine...tough old engines.
Great motor!
Yeah thats for sure Dizzo, what at awesome build, love the ratrod stuff, thanks man
Awesome build, thanks for letting us see it
Hey Dizzo, you did an awesome job building your rat rod, and documenting the whole thing!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks! It was a fun build!
neat idea. frame flip. great build
Another show stopper in the parade , I bet. Good build, man !
i remember the Independent bikes in Boston but anyways that truck/rod rules and there is no better feeling than it's done on your own it's super cool
Love the frame flip.awesome job.I'd love to see more of your builds.replacing the music with some commentary would be excellent as well
You could have had a $100,000.00 rat rod if you hadn't insisted on doing everything yourself.
Best I've seen in a long time, the sport needs more people like you, desperately.
Thanks so much. Yes, we do need more people in this sport. especially younger people.
This build is completely awesome. everything has been uniquely built
Thank you. That means a lot to me.
I like all the pretty rad rod and Music too
Music style brings me back to 1998-2002. Ahh, the nostalgia.
Pretty darn close
Lot of cool ideas I have never seen. Nice build
I love rat rods. They all look mean as hell! The end result of yours is badass!
Nice job - love the wooden floor & tunnel!!
ARC-Angel Thanks!
Underslung! I like the upside-down frame! Only seen one other rod built that way, a 27 Dodge (I think) with a 440, in Hot Rod magazine about 20 years ago.

72 years old. Now 2 years old. "The Resurrection". Great job.
Thanks for the kind words
Great video and inspiration
I enjoyed watching the build. Some great ideas. Planning a rod in the future,as just fixing cars isnt cutting it any more.
Building is more fun than fixing
There was alot of creativity involved in this build. Some of it seems to be borne of necessity. I LOVE IT! The hole thing has more personality then all the new car lots combined!
Thank you so much!
My thoughts exactly. What engine and tranny is being used?

This is so cool! I’ve be a searching the internet for inspiration because my dad and I are building a 38 dodge truck into a rat rod, all we have so far is the cab
