Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Agree with everyone here: GREAT EPISODE. Hilarious, creative. Writer was Jack B. Sowards, who apparently wrote a bunch of Star Trek movies and episodes.
I enjoy the comedic movies but I believe I enjoyed the more serious movies more. They nearly always had some serious lessons to teach us. The other ones just amuse us and make us laugh.
The sheriff having one of his deputies stake out the jail from the inside of a cell under the guise of a black out drunk was much more clever than I thought this sheriff was capable of. Bravo good sir!
the judge played the store owner on several episodes and played reverend aldon on little house on the prairie, the guy thats playing the sheriff is a great actor, i enjoy watching him ive seen him on several different movies
*SOUND REMEDY* If you use headphones, a secondary speaker or bluetooth device the sound works for some reason. Found that out a while ago and that's how I'm able to enjoy these.
didnt recognize lucuas the man with mustache until now, he was on another episode where he got sick and was running from the law for shooting the man that killed the lady that raised him
Lol, Western era cowboy speak real plain in American English Language Either court room or street. In A sense, They sound indelicate, Today~ Thumbs up~~

Hoss's character can be so stupid... After the two idiot 'bank robbers' try to rob the bank, there's Hoss standing there and yelling for them to stop, like they'd suddenly stop because Hoss is yelling at them FFS LOL!!!
Hoss has definitely gravitated from being insightful to rather thick throughout the episodes. He plays both well, but it is rather inconsistent to have one character's IQ vasilate so much.
Hoss as always my Hero.👍

Seem so when Bonanza started there was more serious episodes, but then after Adam left the show theres lot more light hearted comedic episodes.......

Slim Pickens (the sheriff) and Tol Avery (the banker) were both in Blazing Saddles (maybe a couple more from this episode, too). Such a great movie.
Funny episode... Especially the court room scene.
Slim Pickens (The Sheriff) is one of my favorite actors.
Them Cartwright boys sure quick on the draw

I’ve been watching Bonanza since I was knee-high to a puddle duck, but I don’t ever remember seeing this one. Thank you for uploading it.

Slim Pickens what a name, and the irony of the way out humor, funny how the writers come up with these humorous ideas for a script.
better than what he was born with, Louis Burton Lindley, Jr.
Looks like the "King Of The Mountain" Season 5 Episode 21 moved to town and got a job !!

Slim Pickens had the best voice in the history of Westerns.
The judge was the preacher on Little House on the Prairie.

FFS what evidence did they have! If it wasn’t so funny it could have been an episode of The Twilight Zone.
Why is this film company cutting the very end off the shows now. It sucks
🥃👴🏻. DUH I DONT NO
Lol good comedy
Hop Sing is absent from this episode but it's still watchable, Hop Sing was the real star.

Its hard to focus on scenes with that ever present ring around Hoss’ collar.
Slim Pickens has a younger brother, Easy Pickens; don't you love the fame sense of humour?
Has a nephew Dick Pickens.

Little House had an episode like this in Season 9.
Victor French got mixed up with a couple of bumbling crooks riding a mule called "Old Paint".
didnt recognize lucuas the man with mustache until now, he was on another episode where he got sick and was running from the law for shooting the man that killed the lady that raised him
There are a few actors in this episode that are back. I like Lucus in this one and the other episode he starred in, too.
