    Guys it’s nice that you guy are able to learn also do this, but please take great care when changing or opening any fuel pump. Or using tools that can spark ⚡️ 🔥

    It would be easier to just buy the whole assembly, then just take the entire old one out and put new one it. That's what they do in the dealership. Sometimes it's not worth saving the money. Just buy the entire thing and diy. Don't have to worry about it in the future.

      my dealership wanted 400 GBP for the unit. the pump was 20.

    Never use the old filter with the new fuel pump...

      For a good one between 90€ and 150€. You can buy them over ebay but the quality isnt that good and it may not fit your vehicle

      @@cornelcon5267 no but I had the same problem with my polo and we changed it ourselves. We tried to buy a fuel pump over eBay but none fit. Which one you need depends on the year and the month your car was produced as well as the engine you have. I had to buy it at a very good retailer and he explained to me why

      @@one2three123 I think my Polo is also suffering from a bad fuel pump. It cranks but won't start. When I remove the fuel pump fuse, it's starts right away.
