Less commonly, adrenal insufficiency can also cause the following symptoms:
nausea
vomiting
diarrhea

I've learned through experience that the best way to lower stress is to make the word "No" one of my best friends."
It took me a long time to learn this magic word …..
I said no and now i am fired thanks a lot

I appreciate your videos Dr. Osborne! I would love to see functional doctors talk more on the role candida plays with adrenals/HPA Axis/Endocrine system/vagus nerve and our organs. I do not see much out there online about how candida overgrowth affects these bodily systems, especially when someone is trying to eradicate it. It seems like a lot of people who try to detox candida either through diet (low carb, keto, carnivore ) or supplements/antifungals make their adrenal fatigue worse?
Personally, whenever I try to detox candida, I experience crazy B vitamin deficiencies and electrolyte imbalances. I am very low sodium, then the next week it is low potassium with POTS symptoms. I experience B1 deficiency where it gets so bad that I feel like I’m going into lactic acidosis. I experience several symptoms of elevated acid in my body including rapid, pounding heart, shallow breathing, air hunger, extreme muscle weakness, sleep apnea, low stomach acid, urine that feels like battery acid, inability to climb stairs or workout, burning muscles/joints, and bones that feels like they could easily break. Is it the acetaldehyde that candida is releasing that could cause this? I am forced to drink baking soda in water at night to get relief, though I’m also experiencing low stomach acid to begin with, so I try to take the baking soda long after my last meal. I never have sleep apnea unless I’m trying to detox candida, or the candida overgrowth has gotten out of control. It is a viscous circle of one thing causing the other, but it is definitely candida resisting the antifungals & trying to remain in the body robbing my body of nutrients. It is literal hell to get rid of. lol There are way too many people who have adrenal & candida issues for there not to be enough information out there correlating these two, unless I am missing it? I understand you can’t give medical advice, but I’d love to see this addressed generally for everyone who experiences similar symptoms. Thank you!!!
Candida is out of control bc of underlying gut issues… health the gut heals ALOT… bc we physically lack the nutrients in our soil it’s not in our fruits and veggies we consume of in the meats we consume bc our meats aren’t consuming it either…this is why I believe Most ppl have adrenal fatigue is lack of nutrients. The number nutrient ppl are deficient in is magnesium and it is such a powerful one bc it naturally helps us detox the body, and we can’t absorb iron properly, without proper levels of magnesium, as well as helping us sleep. So, with lack of sleep raised cortisol levels because we’re tired we can’t manage stress when we’re tired properly and lack of nutrients as a whole. We physically can’t even reset our bodies until we get things back in balance.
Candida is extremely difficult to control .US Navy gave me a daily gram of Tetracycline for more than 2 years .Ergo serious -candida . The very best thing for me has been
Methylene Blue ....game changer .!!! 10 grams over 4 months has cleared the head & lead to greater focus & concentration . . .Way less moldy prostrate passing urine much easier now . Prostatitis not gone but diminished . . .
Thank you dr Osborne great eye opening ! listening from Mexico cty 🇲🇽 do u know any specialists like these here ? Have been experiencing a lot of these symptoms lately,, but regular Doctrs don’t solve these my these problems ✌️ Thanking so much ❤

I certainly have had the symptoms of adrenal weakness, and I’ve been diagnosed with Addison’s.
Just in case it helps anybody else, here is what I have learned and what has helped me personally.
You have to stay alkaline. Weak adrenals are associated with acidity. I noticed that if my pH strips with urine were below 6.5 or seven, that I would be very fatigued. But that if I had higher Ph levels, I would feel much better.
Weak
adrenals can also cause hypoglycemia per a doctor I had in the past. And I have suffered from hypoglycemia.
I try to eat a lot of alkalizing things and drink a lot of grapefruit juice, unsweetened.
But in addition to that, I have a quart of water, using a filter that causes greater pH levels, with a splash of lemon juice in it. And I sip on that throughout the day.
In addition, I found some drops on Amazon that alkalize you.
They have made a great difference in my energy levels. Some brands do, and some don’t really. You have to test with pH strips to be sure you are really getting what you need.
The brand I use recommends a few drops a day. But since I have Addison’s, I have about 20 drops a day spaced out here and there. After over a month I have had no side effects from that just more energy.
Keep testing your pH levels. As you experiment, you will find out what gets you alkalized.
And by the way, it is very common that people with adrenal weakness also have hypothyroidism, though commonly it is not diagnosed or can even be misdiagnosed.
I used to take hydrocortisone. That can definitely be effective. But taking adrenal gland supplements has also worked just as well for me personally.
I have a simple explanation: stress is a situation when brain need more energy. Energy is controlled by retinol (vitamin A; cell can't produce energy without retinol).
So brain need more retinol => ACTH (is retinol sensitive) => cortisol.
If you examine cortisol from the point of retinol as energy modulator you can realize the real role of cortisol.
Cortisol maintain blood retinol level for the brain when liver can't do it by lowering organs retinol usage.
Fat tissues are not energy stores they collect retinol and send back keeping the organ behind in a retinol deficient state.
Problems begin when brain can't get more retinol (can't make more energy for itself).
On the other hand if cortisol lowered a body function retinol supplementation won't help to restore. We need a opposite hormone.
And fasten your seatbelt! Vitamin D (25(OH)D) is the opposite hormone of cortisol.
D:A = 1:1 seems the best (but it is still question). Only retinil-palmitate is the safe form (artificial forms are toxic for the liver). And need calcium and magnesium because mitchocondria use a lot of calcium, magnesium is for ATP...
From these you can derive vitamin D toxicity as retinol deficiency problem when vitamin D and cortisol interplay because liver retinol stores are depleted.
Great video
Would you do a video on
Modified citrus pectin
I have Addison’s disease I was in the hospital I’m out now I’m not taking any medication, trying to heal myself naturally. Any advice from you would be nice of natural things.
A 25 minute video to list out the symptoms of adrenal fatigue. Thank u, next.
I am here already. dUTCH test results showed almost flat line for cortisol.
What do I look for in my blood work that would indicate high cortisol levels?
It bothers me for I see many " doctors " now trying to tell night owls that is what we have. If this would be so, we would have no energy during the night. Thank you for making a Video that makes sense and mentions night owls can have this too. But it does not make you one..
What do you do if you are, wired/tired?
Hi Dr. Osborne. That's a great explanation of adrenal fatigue. Thank you so much ❤My morning serum cortisol is 10.6 µg/dL which is categorized as adrenal insufficiency. Is it permanent or temporary? Can adrenal glands fully recover?
Did u go to a doctor and get this checked out?
The way to eliminate stress, anxiety, depression, and ALL other ailments, is to be in a state of KETOSIS.
Not necessarily. One of the ways I know I'm hitting keto ranges and need to eat more carbs is my anxiety skyrockets.
I'm in tears and my body chemistry goes haywire. You can keep the ketosis.
@@GoingGreenMom Keto flu?
You have to do it properly when you start. Salt, electrolytes... Tears won't help you. The first month is tough.
But I'm very happy to keep the ketosis 😁
I have been in ketosis for more than four years now. I have been literally born again!!! 🤗
@@GoingGreenMom You're not fat adapted.
@@aurapopescu1875 my body uses fat just fine with carbs. Not everyone is a good fit for every eating style.... I have problems with AIP and Paleo as well because of the health issues I have cause problems with lectins and histamine. It wasn't keto flu, although I did feel a bit of that at first (I didn't try to do keto, I just wound up there), what we basically landed on after we figured out what was going on was that the lack of carbs (and food I was eating) essentially caused my thyroid to go haywire at the same time my immune system was freaking out and it came out as panic attacks and huge mood issues. It did start my journey with electrolyte problems, but more so because my body basically gives up on regulating them if it is freaking out.
How can the nutrients be measured? Excellent video, by the way.

My job is my number 1 stressor, also my cortisol is flatlined
You say 8 hours sleep isn't enough when in adrenal fatigue?? I can't get more than an hour without waking. And more than a total of four hours in one night!! Often only 2 sleeps of 60-90mins duration. Sometimes zero sleep .. this is going on for the past 3 years getting worse and I'm so sick I can hardly function. Please please advise me what to do because all doctors can offer me are antidepressants/ antipsychotics etc and I do not ever want to touch these toxic substances again.
Some of the things that have helped me with sleep...sometimes...is melatonin...and a product from Prohealth called Fibrosleep...which is no longer available. If you live in a "legal" state...then herb can help sleep...but...I've read that it can be a problem with adrenal fatigue...I have to use it for chronic pain from Ankylosing Spondylitis...rock and hard place.
@@truthtriumphant4015 thanks..yeah I've tried melatonin and it's OK but won't keep me asleep for more than an hour.. I wish I could get cbd with more than .o3% thc but its illegal here..the search continues..🙄🙄🙄😉
I'm about to order a product that my friend swears on....she thinks I have adrenal fatigue because I fall asleep and then wake up 1-2 hours later. It's CBD oil. Not sure if you've tried it. I have before and it didn't work.. My friend said it was maybe the wrong dose. So I'm ordering it right now to try exactly what my friend uses. It's by a company called CBD Pure. And it says Hemp oil. I just need to try it. If you respond to my message, then I can let you know in a few weeks if it works or not.
gaia herbs has a product called Adrenal Health nightly restore. It works really good! Best of luck
Adaptogens (herbs) help regulate cortisol levels. Calm things down. The plant Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that health food stores carry. You can mix these Adaptogens, there are several out there. Do your research as some are calming and some may be energizing. Bottom line is to heal the adrenals and eat healthier otherwise the adaptogens won’t work very well.
If you have the gene that makes iron more problematic when taking vitamin C...what does a person do?
I am tired all the time, in bed 🛌 all the time. How do I recover?
Licorice root powder from Italy with milk. Look for DEAF WHALE/DR BASCHETTI CONVERSATION FROM 25 YEARS AGO...if you can find it.
BTW, you can't get Italian Licorice root powder in the USA anymore, at least I can't. Best book: CHRONIC FATIGUE UNMASKED 2000 by Dr. POESNECKER of Clymer Clinic Quakertown, Pa. Can adrenal fatigue be due to perimenopause?
I think dear it’s the opposite. Adrenal fatigue and stress lead to early menopause and hormonal issues.❤
Who does interceller testing?
Here you go - www.glutenfreesociety.org/nutrient-defeciency-test-kit/
@DrOsborne Thank You for the information, my wife and I will be following up on this subject. We look forward to finding out what is going on. And if we have any health issues that can be taken care of by a lack of nutrition.
plant based diets are not a trend!
💖❤️💖❤️🙏❤️💖❤️💖
There is NO adrenal fatigue, rather than HPA dysfunction. It all starts with the brain, not adrenals..
You know nothing. The adrenal glands are like the starter on your car. If they are compromised and not producing enough cortisol, your body shuts down. It is actually quite simple.
