Today's lesson, buy a cheaper winch! They come with a tensioner already installed!

I am probably going to switch to a nylon rope and will need a new fairlead anyway and will not need a tensioner..

Although it is over kill but if you over load winch once you will be to have the extra strength of that plate on the bottom
