I got my wife a Nikon D700, its a surprise for her birthday. Thank you for your video Pura Vida from Costa Rica !
Love that !!!!! So generous and you get to enjoy the images too ! Winning
There is a screw inside the battery space that holds the main grip.
Do a video on the replacing the buttons on the D700 because the paint wears off and looks bad. You can buy new buttons online. Thanks
I still have an old Nikon D70 and have this problem of sticky camera case rubber. I have been scouring the internet for find replacement rubber parts for for this camera without success. Would you have any links to get parts for this camera, since you mentioned the Nikon D70S near t he end of your video?
It’s seriously it worth the investment for the price of a replacement for sure ! clean the sticky rubber with alcohol prep pads
@@robbellphoto Thanks for the advice. Worked a treat. May have extended the useful life of this camera.
Where can you get the grips.
Aliexpress!
How are the Chinese grips working out?
100% fine. I do not leave my gear in the car or the heat / cold. I treat it well. Left on a shelf in the house when not in use. So, no issues
What an absolute buffoon of a repair! Seriously? Firstly you completely over saturated the area under the rear grip with alcohol it likely seeped into the memory card door, and then you continue to scrape excess adhesive off with a screwdriver and then a craft knife blade scratching the surface up? Just because you bought a worn out example covered in paint loss and wear doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat it with respect and care. Use a plastic smudger or a wooden toothpick for crying out loud!
Agreed ! There are certainly many ways to complete this task and I’d recommend taking your time for sure ! Thanks for the comment Mark !
