The SA87 is just an AR that got nerfed into the LMG category because of its insane empty reload animation.
Aside from the slow reload (which can be cut down w/ sleight of hand), the gun is amazing!
Extended mags can also help it fit in the LMG class more.
@@potetobloke4731 I mean it is a AR with a marksman length barrel it’s literally the L85 which is 1 of the most hated Service guns in history
@@potetobloke4731 it original had about a 16 or 18 inche barrel with a 20 or 22 inch barrel for marksman versions or LMG uses.
More modern versions added a shorter barrel which is about a 12” or 14”

The "Enfield" because I refuse to call it the SA87 has two major points. It hits like a freaking truck and it doesn't have the monotonous lengthy reloads that other LMGs have and with the right attachments, it has a decent ADS and controllable recoil. Course the Iron Sights are ATROCIOUS
i personally enjoy the irons but yeah i understand the hatred for them
The irons are not that bad, they are perfectly usable compared to shit like the an94 ones which obstruct so much
the irons on the base weapon are atrocious, but most blueprint variants of the SA87 have flip up irons

The sa87 was actually my favorite gun in the game. It's my most used gun in the kills record section. I mean I also mostly played hardcore so the 1 shot kills made it even better.

Real moment here: Im so happy I subscribed to this channel. I've learned so much about the call of duty series since watching you. I primarily play fighting games-- I would try to play cod and get killed like in seconds and so I just wouldn't play anymore. Since watching your channel I've learned that attachments for guns really do matter. I didn't think "fire rate" and "damage" etc made much of a difference. I also didn't realize that some guns killed in 2 upper-body shots versus 4 upper-body shots (or whatever variation needed to kill). I just thought all guns generally killed in the same way if you shoot people. I didn't realize this especially matters in gun fights. I didn't even know what a gunfight was to this extent. I seeing that I always used what I saw other players using, and/or picked up other players gun thinking this was how I was suppose to play the game. It was odd because at times I'd use "bad" guns (I was always best with two pistols) but because I didn't see anyone else using them I felt like I was behind or I suck or I shouldn't be playing the game. I'm learning from your channel that its ok to have variety in weapons and not everyone has to use the weapons that everyone else is using to get kills. The last cod I purchased was WW2. I think I may give this series another try now that I understand that its ok to be different, and I should just use guns that best fit my play style.

SA87 was my main squeeze around season 3-4 of MW. Then it became groundloot in WZ and everyone started using it and it got nerfed. Still damn fun to play with though.
Definitely slept on it's the first gun I got gold when the game came out. To the best of my knowledge it never got touched in patches
