@@Luna-TK No, this episode is still one of the best of the second season. There is always some "calm" episodes, but more exciting episodes too. Globally, season 2 is more exciting than the first one (the main plot, the characters development, the new things...)

I was curious if it was much of a surprise to others. I could tell from The Bubbler which was the first episode I saw because Netflix 🙄
I can only imagine the shock Adrien felt when he found out that his dad was probably a supervillain that was basically trying to kill people.

Luna, look, sometimes the release dates can also be MESSED UP because apparently they are airing part 1 of a two parter then airing another episode that'll be way after that two parter, probably spoiling everything in the second part. This schedule is REALLY ticking me off... I'd recommend that you watch troublemaker then Style Queen, Queen Wasp, Malediktator THEN Reverser then anansi, frozer and sandboy. This is the proper release date schedule as the season finale is after Sandboy. The Christmas Special is also part of Season 2 BTW. Promise me you WILL NOT WATCH ANY TRAILERS FOR EPISODES AS THEY CONTAIN HUGE AS HECK SPOILERS!!
*DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO STOP YOURSELF FROM WATCHING THESE TRAILERS BECAUSE TRAILERS SHOULD BE AVOIDED LIKE THE PLAGUE* why do we even have episode trailers???

When the description of the collector first came out, everyone was like: GABRIEL CAN'T BE HAWK MOTH HE GOT AKUMATIZED but then the episode came out and most people were like I TOLD YOU SO!!!
Also, get ready for WAY more plot development...
FINALLY!!! YES!! season one was great but it was totally lacking plot development which I can't wait to see!
And also, IN THE FIRST EPISODE look at the difference between the animation in the first season and the episode you watched.

Sure, Luna, you got on the Season 2 train almost a year late (Season 2 isn't finished but on October 21 2017 it'll be a year since the Season 2 and episode premier) but FINALLY you're here at last and we can't wait to watch you go through this Season 2 journey with all of us. Edit: Unfortunately, even if you watch it in release order or production order it doesn't have a certain timeline, because of the way the show is made. The timeline itself is a mystery to the fandom, which some of us are trying to crack...

Well, I'm trying to make it a personal goal to do once a week? I'm going to try really really really hard. May not be perfect but if I can get a head start on recording a few episodes in a row maybe at like the end of this week....maybe it will make it easier ? That way I can just kind of pick away at editing and posting once a week. I find that it's easier to find time to edit. Harder to find time to record. lol

So did the akuma effect Gabriel Agreste? Because even though he is hawkmoth and all, I don't think he would try to capture Adrien. Maybe Nathalie, since he knew that he wasn't actually going to get the miraculous, and Ladybug would revert everything back to normal.

You have a choice now.
You can watch the episodes released as they were, but the story will be out of order
Or you can watch them in production order, and have all the episodes in line.
Production order doesn't matter, since nobody knows the certain timeline
Still doesn't really work BC of troublemaker and frightingale and etc.
So per someone's helpful suggestion I'm going to go in release order which means the following: Dispair Bear, Prime Queen, Befana, Reposte, Robustus etc.... Hope that helps!! :)

You better get yourself strapped in Luna because if you thought this episode was mind blowing, then you ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait until you get to Season 2 Episode 10. Also, it was said in Origins that if Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous' are brought together then they will grant any wish. The intro for this season is so amazing in my opinion, especially since they hint at the shapes and colors of the other miraculous users.
