Pros: Widely available and under $10
Easy for dog to see in a verity of conditions
Easy to throw if not dirty
Fairly durable
FLOATS
Cons: Can be destroyed
Will sink if it gets a hole
Slippery with slobber (not when just wet)

Another toy that lasts just a few minutes :(
If you want a toy that lasts, get the Goughnut toys, my master-of-destruction Stafford has been enjoying his for over a year and a half (unsupervised play included), and they're barely dented.
Also the Beeztees Sumo is his favorite toy, and lasts about 3-4 months (eventually in deteriorating states of existence, but enough to keep him interested).

Did your dog not notice the smell..? If you hide it ,they'll find it super quick ....they have an unpredictable bounce too .....did you guys not notice ???? Pretty tough too.
