    I have read her book about Speer, and the one about Stangl. Very good reads.

    She very kindly admits that she very much liked Albert Speer and found him to be very honest in his comments.

      Speer admitted in a letter shortly before he died that he knew about the extermination of the Jews. And that he regretted nothing - he would do it all again, had he the chance. He was a liar. He was not 'the good Nazi.'

      That's a childish comment. Her book on him is one of the greatest contributions to our understanding of the 3rd Reich.

      Maybe you should read some books about Albert Speer and read what those authors feel about the book Gitta wrote. Then get back to me. Her book was universally derided.@@radicalcartoons2766

      A study of history shouldn’t be concerned with sympathy. It’s aim should be to absorb as much information as possible. She achieved that.
