Several years ago I read that several sports teams were encouraged to drink pickle juice before a game/during workouts for better health. Racing is one of those sports that can drain the fluids out of the drivers and drinking pickle juice is a big help for keeping the electrolytes in balance.

rofl this was tooo funny. I hate pickles myself and the smell as well it makes me want to throw up. My sister used to go into the kitchen when no one was around ( or so she thought ) and would drink the pickle juice out of the jar and once confronted she would deny deny deny to our mom until I said to her I was standing behind you watching and you had no idea and even though I was always around when she did this she still denied lol.
