GH 12-21-07 Georgie's Funeral (1/2)

Maxie continues to give Felicia the cold shoulder as they prepare to leave for Georgie's funeral. At the church, Mac sadly tells Robin he failed his daughter by not capturing the serial killer before he struck so close to home. Robin reminds a tearful Mac how he was the only one who was always there for her, Maxie and Georgie throughout their lives. Later, Felicia and Mac steel themselves to accept condolences from friends and acquaintances as they file into the chapel and fill the pews. During the service, Maxie rises to eulogize her beloved sister and praises the people who graced Georgie's life (Mac, Robin, Dillon, Spinelli, Bobbie), then launches into a bitter diatribe against Felicia as the other mourners listen in stunned silence. After a sobbing Felicia flees from the church, Dillon follows and tries to reassure her that Georgie loved her mother dearly. Robin turns to Patrick for comfort in the wake of the disastrous funeral service.
