Heyyy! Question, I was wondering if you had to be ‘admitted’ to the masters program at the uni you work at? I just started working at a uni and I want to get my masters as well but I was wondering what it was like for you. Thank you!
I did! I still had to apply and go through the application process 😅 I wish it was automatic lol but it wasn’t that bad. I had a good undergrad gpa 🙂 also, my supervisor wrote my recommendation letter. I got accepted pretty quickly luckily

That’s weird to have to pay money to the irs for college that was paid for by the college. If anything you should get money back on what was paid for the school or the school should get it back. That makes no sense
I agree 🙄 but they’re adding what the classes cost as if I made additional income. So it looks like if my classes were $10k, instead of paying for it, it looks like I made an additional $10k on my taxes. Ridiculous 😓

But you’d be better off just paying for it. At least then you’d be getting money back on interest
