I'm a long time Knick fan, but much respect to Maxey for how he's taking this tough loss. Head up, looks you right in the eye. Works his tail off even being sick. Doesn't try to make excuses or attack the other side. Maxey's got a great future ahead.

When I was a kid, 30 years ago, I didn't like anyone in the other team, and couldn't understand why other people said good things about Jordan when he was beating everybody....but as an adult- I appreciate great players when I see it, whereever they are.
@chuvolta I'm the same way, my aunts boyfriend was a big time laker and magic fan, and I liked the sixers and Charles Barkley, but as I got Older I realized that they are a great team and like you said just because it's not my team they are still great, the Knicks have some really good players and they wanna get better and they want to win this series 👍

Maxey is a baller. You get to see it more now without Harden. Tough loss with bad and missed calls on both teams. Not giving Nurse a time out before the inbounds is my only gripe, but the game is in the books now. Sixers gotta play better on the glass if they want to beat this Knicks team. They’re good again.

Side note, I'm happy for your Knicks. I've been rooting for them the last 4 seasons, and seeing the progression. Not my second team or anything, but I follow the progress and always wish y'all well. I haven't said this out loud, or written it, only thought it to myself, but I feel like Knicks are the dark horse that could see the Finals this year. Not even sure why. Unlikelier things have happened though.

He and Quickley are basically the same guy. Maxey is a bit more polished in his game. Both are great kids.

Tyrese handled his business but Embiid has to take his ass to the Key and take that shot. Tyrese shouldn’t have had to run by folks to try and get a lay up. Embiid is the exact weapon for an EASY BUCKET and then he hesitates on the last shot. It’s so weird Embiid always has something wrong during Crunch time it’s kinda sad
That’s not really Embiid’s fault could’ve been the play call but even if it wasn’t maxey took the shot

Bro that was an excellent play, he had a wide open layup. That was just an outstanding block by hartenstein. Embiid was laboring and Maxey had the hot hand. Any play for Embiid would probably have been too slow.

I appreciate this interview very much. He pointed out the real basketball reasons why they lost and never once bitched about the refs like Joel and Nick are doing. They asked some tough questions and he handled them well. Great job Maxey!🫡
The other for the Knicks are helping Brunson more than the others are helping maxey and Embiid and that is a big reason why there up.
Cuz the Knicks all year have been a true and complete TEAM from the top down even after all the injuries. As much as the Knicks rely on Brunson they also pick him up when he needs it and will allow him to change his game from scorer to playmaker and he doesn’t have some massive ego to always have to be taking the shots he’s very willing to let his teammates shine. True team with a coach on the floor as their leader in Brunson.
@@j.r.3945 I give you that. Your right. The others for sixers aren’t even looking at the rim at all and it’s maxey and a return from surgery from Embiid or bust. But I ain’t mad at all. The other for the sixers just got help Embiid out more especially if he ain’t 100%. Like in the game 1 and game 2 maxey has been amazing but it’s disappointing when the others are getting open looks and not being aggressive compared to the Knicks others.

Like there wasn’t every reason in the world to be furious with the refs. Not even just last play. The whole game they were atrocious and the 76ers still were gonna win despite it, but the refs had to find a way to screw it even more.

If they don't trade Embiid by this offseason then he will eventually lose all his trade value and you'll get barely anything in return. They should have traded him before this season started honestly. He was coming off an MVP season. Could have gotten 5-6 1sts and multiple young prospects. Now we'd be lucky if we get 3 First and a talented young player.
