Either way it's annoying when fighters get on their knees to avoid kicks and elbows. In a street fight you will get smashed in the face with a hard shoe or knee if you're on your knees. This division is a joke. Only guys that really mattered in the division and this happens.

I can hardly wait to see the "oh shit" look on Sterling's face the first time Yan hits him with a flush shot. Yan is a straight-up assassin. He's the sole reason the little Burger King ( Cejudo ) retired so abruptly after only 2 title defenses........and no one can convince me otherwise.
They're equal in terms of balance and reflexes and heart, that's scary for Cejudo but I would love to see them fight.

Yan is going to really hurt Sterling, Sterling talked a lot of shit about coming for his ass but in Russia words like that will get to carried away. Sterling should keep his tough talk in raps because he's going to learn a hard lesson about fighting.

I do not see Aljo beating Petr. Too much determination, strength, speed, accuracy... perhaps if he manages to drag him to the ground and pulls a sub.

Sterling got legitimately dominated the entire fight, This is bullshit!
Absolutely. Yan was fighting CONSERVATIVELY, yet he was still rag-dolling the fuck out of Sterling, tripping him so easily & repeatedly. You could also see the affect each time he punched & kicked Sterling. Not to mention Yan stuffed 14 of 15 take down attempts. Granted, that knee by Yan was illegal as all hell, but after several minutes when the camera was close on Sterling as he was talking to the doctor & ref, anyone with a brain could clearly see he was totally conscious & his eyes were very clear. I truly believe Sterling knew he was in big trouble, had nothing more to give, and put on a show of "still being hurt". I know he didn't want that title belt in this manner, but all the same, he was done BEFORE the illegal knee, and he damn well knew it. You could see the expressions on his face between rounds. Oh well, Yan will have to re-earn his title, and NEVER do a stupid move like that again, even though he was clearly winning the fight.

I think Aljo can catch Yan like how Frank Mir or Brian Ortega can catch someone with a submission anywhere and anytime in a fight. Aljo has better kicks and can use that to create distance when needed like what Jon Jones & Stylebender do in fights. Inside boxing range Yan is a rough customer like old school Rashad Evans, or Wanderlei Silva-Aljo should keep out of that range if possible.
