Great tips to help someone in their English speaking. I’d say the most important tip is to practice to speaking and listening! Think about small children, a child learns a language first by listening and speaking - they make so many grammar mistakes when they’re younger which is perfectly normal but they don’t get scared to make those mistakes. So to everyone who feels like they can understand English but not speak it don’t be scared to make those mistakes because making mistakes is the only way to learn 🤗

    Video brief:
1)Learn everything by topic: Create a notebook with different sections for various topics like friendship, relationships, health, environment, education, sports, and hobbies. Whenever you come across new words or phrases related to a specific topic, write them down in the relevant section of your notebook.
2)Write before you speak: Before engaging in a conversation, write down a few sentences about the topic you want to discuss. This helps you organize your thoughts, practice grammar and vocabulary, and have pre-made sentences or phrases ready to use during the conversation.
3)Prefabricated sentences: These are sentences that you create in advance and have memorized. By using the sentences and vocabulary you have learned, mix and match them to create new sentences during conversations. This allows you to speak more fluently and confidently.
4)Practice: Practice speaking on your own, even if you don't have a speaking partner. Talk to yourself, imagine different situations, describe things, or engage in dialogues. The more you practice speaking, the more comfortable and proficient you will become.
It's important to note that practice and consistent effort are key to improving your speaking skills over time. By following these steps and dedicating time to practice, you can make significant progress in speaking English.

You are doing a great job. Keep it up Mandy! I want to add one thing, any listening activity, be it a movie, a TV show or an audio book helps in acquiring speaking skill. Basically you have to create an environment in which a foreign language is used. We English Teachers believe in Communicative approach, which is the integration of four skills. If you try to teach a foreign language through grammar it will hamper spoken fluency.

This applies when you are in the process of learning every language, like i mean for example , I can understand Dutch but with speaking is but difficult for me.
Reading and listening are for passive learners , writing & speaking is for active learners some people find writing and reading easier , thus it differs the ability of the person.
But learning a language needs emersion, you cant speak for example English if you living in non English countries. Like its common sense . But if you living in Russia or China even you can't speak their language you forced your self to learn it bc for your survival, & your environment speak it so you have the change to adopt it. Just like a baby

I got a lot of pressure especially when you come from a country (Philippines) where its people consider english as their 2nd language and a lot can actually speak well. Every time I speak english I always stutter and I cannot formulate easily the words that should come out of my mouth. I am more confident in writing than speaking english. My english is not perfect but as long as the person understands what I am saying them I'm fine with it.

Spot on! I'm from the P.I too and i feel ashamed to speak English in the public. & like what you have mentioned theres a lot of our kababayans who can speak the language fluently and when you speak you should be good in grammar otherwise you'll get embarrassed, frustrated and traumatized🤦🏼‍♀️meanwhile, we are on thesame boat, i cant easily/quickly formulate words to say when talking to someone else, i stuttered too even in my local dialect sometimes 😬. Honestly tho I'm feeling frustrated

You both have pretty good understanding with English. It's a shame you guys say you aren't confident. Just speak it, despite the off chance of making any mistakes, what's the worst that can happen?

Tujuan komunikasi adalah menyampaikan informasi yang kita mau dan penerima informasi mengerti apa yang kita inginkan
Benar kalau dalam kehidupan sehari asal lawan bicara mengerti itu sudah cukup baik

Well tbh we shouldn't forced that in the 1st place bcoz even china nor South Korea yes english is important but KOREAN LANGUAGE is what they used in daily life and to communicate.... Can we say that we should normalize that kind of treatment besides mostly of here in our country who speak English they already taught that since they were kids ,,,, what about ppl who came from southern Region that had a Mother tongue language speak 2 different languages...

I would love to share my idea or opinion about this channel. First of all, we are thankful to have some teacher here on CZcams has willing to share his knowledge to teach us to level up our English journey. I am so much related about the teacher said. I have a lot of English vocabulary, I can understand English and I know the grammar structure. However, It is difficult for me to speak well in English. I need to think first before I say what I think in my mind. POC channel is truly correct the only key is always to be patient, spend a lot of time, more practice, and never give up. Keep it up, sir!
