The cool attack effects, the weather and music perfectly setting the tone for a challenging and intimidating fight, the Apex Zinogre appearing halfway through and THE FACT THAT YOU CAN RIDE IT AND USE IT TO FIGHT AMATSU???? 11/10. Your guys’ commentary also made this even better to watch, 20/10.
I love apex zinogre coming in since at first it seems like just a fun hype moment but looking at it closer it’s much more fitting. Considering an Apex Zinogre is one that survived Ibushis windstorm this one showing up is basically “I am not letting another goddamn flying wind snake do me like that again” and I love that payback it gets
I quite like it, I was annoyed to have another frickin wind fight after ibushi and Narwa when I already hated kushala as well, but this fight had much more interactive mechanics than you just run around for 10 minutes dodging huge AOEs and eventually shooting with ballistas or activating the Dragonator. However was disappointed by the equipment, I wasn't interested in the armour and the insect glaive is pretty meh which is sad because it means the best water insect glaive we have is frickin royal ludroth 💀
Same for me but I magically only managed to cart once because I didn't know that he would lift me into the air and guaranteed os me unless I had a wirebug 💀 but hey lesson learned

You'd be surprised to see many players fighting Amatsu for the first time didn't know you can hold midair and didn't bother to read what the game is telling you
Whenever he did the move where he sucks you in the tornado I just hopped on a cannon because it doesn't pull you in it. The no spiribird sounds like a good challenge so I'm going to give it a shot after I finish watching this video
Absolutely loved the fight. Amatsu is easily one of my favorite monsters and I'm glad to see Capcom did my boi justice. It took me about 3 attempts to beat him the first time, kept getting caught in his tornadoes more often than I care to attempt.
@@revandiandro5437 we beat him tho Was pretty tough no doubt, but not risen valstrax tough. The fact that its in the arena may have helped. The first run we got it down to 30%. The last 30% is insane though
as cool as this fight was for me... it was just running around his arena dodging his huge AOE attacks and then just hammering away his HP for me. Anyway as always, extremly fun to watch you guys, its always a great time for me even if my sides hurt sometimes. keep up the great work!
@@AXIDIUS They do a few moves twice, have some variation in their movesets. I also think more hp and damage. I don't know if it's worth making an entire video on, but they're a great challenge imo. I'm sure you'd get a kick out of them.
I will admit, this fight was extremely fun for me. As a DB user myself, it was both challenging and fun. Amatsu's not too hard, but he is challenging. And he really tests your skill with wirebugs. =D
I got it in my first try 45 mins but fainted once, my playstyle is a more defensive one with Chargeblade. I really loved the fight so much. But Story wise They need a bit of work, BUT im glad they added Wirebug specific mechanics in the fights. So Looks like they have a coule of puzzle pieces right. they just need to put em right. Also You guys havent fought the apexes? Thunderlord Zinoger even on high rank hits stupidly hard and I liked it, Havent beaten the apexes yet.
As long as the handler doesn't make a cameo, I'm alright with the story. I was waiting so long for them to incorporate a wirebugs as an actual mechanic. We've done the apex monsters, but it's been a while.
Loved the video. Great job as always! Personally, I thought it was a great fight. Probably the best in the game. I did it on the first attempt solo and it took me 34 mins with 1 faint to that main ultimate attack as I had no clue what I had to do. 😅

With the tornado he can charge in the first phase, hitting him enough cancels the attack, so really it’s a free opening. Though in the second phase when he does it, it gets harder to do so
let me share a fact with u, whenever u see rainbow there will always be 2 rainbow...i really mean 2 rainbow ALWAYS....just the another rainbow will always be blur and when heavy rain u can see it a little clear....try it for urself, just make sure u took a proper look (might take a few minutes to even realize it, the blur rainbow 70 percent is on top of the clear rainbow 1)
Still mixed on this fight. On one hand, its not a boring snooze fest like Gens Amatsu and I am glad its appropriately difficult for the threat the games try to convey it but it feels like this fight sure loves piling on visual effect out the ass
I think i understand how capcom is going with this game, they intentionally make the TU monsters easy so everyone can experience and farm the material. They will release advanced/hazard version of them require higher MR/AR. Imagine if Risen crimson glow valstrax was unlockable at MR10, I bet the reddit will be full of frustration from newbie/casual getting their ass fked up by Valstrax.
@@no-bodymr6419 correct, i just looked at some datamines for the next update and it seems to be primarily hazard content for some major monster and some whose difficulty was scaled down to accomodate for newbies. not spoiling you which tho.

You guys should fight the hazard Risen. If you unlock the A8 and A9 quests, those version of the Risen have harder movesets and hit harder.
