I played Origins on both and the PC version was significantly better for the tactical cam. This, however, has it on console too, and it looks like it works fantastically. It might still be a little better on PC but the difference is negligible this time around.
If you play Inquisition as a standalone, it's merely a decent game imo. However, if you play dragon age origins and Dragon age 2 first, this game becomes a trillion times better. It's so interesting to see the world state that you created playing the previous games continue to play out when you import your saves into Inquisition, especially when you know the lore and backstory of templars vs mages, what happened with Hawke in DA2, what became of the characters in DAO, awakening, etc etc.
The thing that made skyrim so amazing is that you were you're own person who could do anything you want from becoming a general to a potato farmer. That is why RPGs with pre determined paths and actions like the witcher and dragon age will never be a Skyrim killer. (No hate just my opinion)
There are good and bad things which come with that, the sheer scale and freedom are incredible but it sacrifices the storytelling that The Witcher has and vice versa. The combat in Skyrim is also very poor. Personally I think its just preference, the world in Skyrim, freedom, and exploring are probably second to none, but its storytelling and combat are forgettable and bad.
yeah but skyrims story and combat is also garbage so I'd take the trade off swinging your sword feels awful and it gets repetitive. In this you can switch up your playing style.
It doesn't need to be. In terms of exploration, TES games are arguably more vast and immersive. For everything else though, from the writing, the characters, the quality of the quests to the combat, DA is better.
in skyrim you couldn't be whoever you want. you where the dragonborne and it was your duty to stop the dragons wrecking havoc all over the world, in DA:I its the same your the "inquisitor" and its your job to stop the rifts from happening and stop the mage/templar civil war. in both games you could go about accomplishing that goal anyway you want. so i don't see your point. also the reason why skyrim isn't dead is because of the very very strong MOD community. thats it. if it wasn't for Mods skyrim wouldn't be so popular. especially since oblivion was much stronger in all aspects except for combat and graphics.
***** there is but you can't really do it until you get to Skyhold and recruit Dagna. But tbh you don't really need enchanted weapons in the opening sections anyway tbf. As the enemies in the opening levels aren't that hard once you've mastered the basics of the game.
From my experience with the game, the story isn't weak. I think the issue as that people get so caught up in side quests and fun stuff, that they leave hours of gaps between story missions, making it feel less of a smooth journey. But if you put the story pieces together, its pretty good, imo
GunStreets Except Witcher 3 isnt out for another 3 months, surly even the most casual gamer can finish even a lengthy game such as this within 3 months. Well whatever, enjoy waiting, ill be playing this and Witcher 3 when it comes out.
Playstation network they have many games on sale for E3 DA-I is 4.99 for everyone with a PS4 and playstation plus. I think the game is 8bucks if you don't have psplus, but this is also for NA region, or USA
Was on Live for like 10 bucks with all DLCs... got a solid 150 hours out of it, maybe more.... great times and one of the best i have played.... yuuuuup
just finished. 92ish hours. I probably could have wrapped it up sooner but wanted to level up a bit. Turns out it was not necessary for the boss fight. The amount of content really is crazy. Re-watching this review I was struck how it looked like he was playing a different game because i didn't use those characters. So I had a pretty different experience. I didn't even ever ride my weird basilisk horse thing. There are A LOT of lame mini-missions but the fast travel ability makes them go by fairly quickly. I loved the banter between the characters I chose (Cole, Blackwall, Dorian (bow rogue elf for my character). I enjoyed how my main characters race really played into the game especially during the palace intrigue sections. You could play this so many times and have a different experience. However, at 90+ hours I really think our lives are too short to play it more than once. (ok maybe twice)
What is this luck! Just when I finished watching this video. I look on the PlayStation store and find the GOTY edition on sale for $10. This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
Douglas Fulmer Dude I have completed every fallout game and skyrim and I have to tell you, how do you possibly get over 100 hours on those games? do you start a new game? because if I Load a save, I will lurk around and not see anything to loot but kill but it's only for a short period of time. I don't honestly think it's possible to get over 100 hours... games like dark souls (if your a beginner) and persona yeah I understand But bethesda games? naw I'll pass on that
Bought the game a few days ago, I'm around 20 hours, and there is so much left. I love huge games like this. I have to say it is a really awesome game, that still looks good on 360. Definitely a game I'm going to play with for a long time.
The only two real big problems i have with the game is: 1: A bug that makes it impossible for me to respec my characters without crashing the game. 2: The fact that X on the PS4 is both jump, loot and climb! Im sure number 1 will be patched at some point, but having X do pretty much all the useful things can get really annoying! In a single playthrough i tried counting every time i accidentaly jumped instead of using an object, and i ended up doing it around 130 times...
Actually, I'd rather play this and then the Witcher 3. Unless you're one of those bitchers that have nothing better to do than troll on a DAI vid. Yeah, im gonna go with option B ;).
Just completed my first single player campaign through this game. Awesome. The plus side is the depth of pathos in the personal dialogs you have with your people. I loved talking with them. The negative (at least on the Xbox) is that some of the dialog in the cutscenes would freeze for a time. I've seen some of the other storylines others have posted here as well. Although the ending may actually arrive at the same point, the way there has so many different paths. That's just what an RPG should aspire for. A different telling of the same story, every time you pick it back up. I went through as a mage, which told me I should align with the mages. Next time I'll run through the game with the templars, as a warrior, and have a romance. Damn good stuff, having choices.
This game made Dragons a fearsome and beautiful thing to not only see but fight. I’d have loved to see a way to not have to kill the dragons maybe tho.
I finished the campaign yesterday, it took me about 3 years since I’ve played other games and stopped with this one. I was and am still amazed at how wonderful this game is, I’ll be playing it again tonight!! Haha😂❤️
Idk if I should get this. I haven't played any dragon age game before but I love rpg's/open worlds. Should I go for it? Is it good? I don't trust ign reviews lmao
All of the Dragon Age games are great but Inquisition is the first in the series to have a mostly open world. The locations are all unique and gorgeous. There's so much to do, so many races and classes to choose from, and choices to make that change the course of your game (you can also import saves from the prequels to alter things in this installment, or go to Dragon Age Keep online to make a custom world state). So yes it's worth every penny IMO. There are novels and Dark Horse comics that expand on the lore as well.
+Somethingysomething Because you can directly compare 1 con with the next? Dude... that's like saying 1 disease is as bad as the next... and well... you know.
this game is fantastic. i'm 25 hours in and barely scratched the surface. i love how you can free roam into areas where your entire party gets killed on the spot because you're not strong enough to face those enemies yet. leveling up really feels like you're getting stronger i haven't run into a single bug or glitch and never crashed once. that gets bonus points from me because this game is so massive. the story and characters are very good as well. i don't know why this game still gets so much hate. i understood the criticisms of dragon age 2 - i think it's the weakest of the 3 but still enjoyed it, but inquisition addresses many of the issues and it blows dragon age 2 out of the water in terms of presentation and basically everything.
Nevermind, I'm still playing Dragon Age Origins because the story is amazing and it is the best example of how Voice Acting should sound like. I have Skyrim too indeed and both game are very satisfying, a lot. Nonetheless, the deception with Dragon Age II combat and story line was so huge that I'm not sure if I'm going to buy Inquisition! It is very tempting I must say. Damn Bioware!!
XxX_Doritos_XxX Have you worked at a Video Game studio? I've had the courtesy of visiting Edmonton and from the looks of it, it's hard fucking work. The crew at Bioware Edmonton worked 14+ hours a day, 7 days a week, for 4 years on DAI alone. If you read press releases from the crew at Edmonton, there isn't a Season Pass, there will be no added companions via DLC, and any DLC coming out in the next few months will be free map additions to the Multiplayer. These guys worked hard and deserve a long sabbatical until they start working on the next game.
I put 60+ hours into Dragon Age: Inquisition and was nowhere near finished. The exploration and side missions kept calling me away from the main quest. I'm restarting tonight and I'm determined to finish this great game this time.
so i bought the game for my xb360 and i wanted to install it to my HDD because i hate the noise of the disc and it overheats my xb faster but it doesnt give me the opitions to install in the dashboard any ideas on how to install it?
The reviews I read for this game up until now: Some said the story is awesome, some said it's weak Some said the main villain isn't just a stereotypical bad guy who wants to destroy the world, some said that he was totally forgettable Some said the crafting of weapons and armor is good but unnecessary because you find good itens anyway, some said the best itens can only be acquired by crafting
I dont know if its just me but i sometimes do feel like i hit dead ends, as in that sometimes i cant reach where the map marker is leading me and spend quite so e time trying ti find a path. Is it just me?
Mad Maestro this game is like £6 on Ps store for the deluxe edition. I’m considering buying it but I don’t want to play a game with shitty combat, what do you think?
@@mclovinjr9086 it's ok. It's mainly strategy based real time combat. Where you switch between managing what you want your party to do and real time action combat. The combat is Very mmo'ish however. Basic attacks don't stun enemies and what not. However the point is to strategize around the opponent in front of you. Brute force is rarely the way to go in this game.
Funny, i've read/watched about 5 reviews now, and every single one except for this one has hailed the plot as the best and most epic in the series. Think he missed the mark here
As someone who has played origins to the point where I knew everything about the game inside and out, this gives me anxiety lol. What if I dont like my decisions and I invested so much time in it and how will I be able to 100% it
I've never played a DA game before (I know) and I was wondering if this game would be too complex or too unfamiliar for me. I've beaten all the ME games several times and I loved them all. The question is is this game hard to play for a person who's never played one before? All the options on-screen look very confusing.
I find it kinda sad. The fact that Bioware had more development time, bigger budget and Fan's feedback and they still couldn't make the game as good as Origins was. And what is here to blame? Bioware...Or rather Modern Bioware. Origins was a game developed by Old Bioware, people who made RPG gems like Neverwinter nights or Bauldur's Gate. People who knew exactly how an RPG should be made. Inquisition was made by modern Bioware who not only don't understand how a proper RPG should work, but also work together with EA who most of the time just make things even worse. This Reviewer said that Inqusition has all the RPG depth of Origins, No it doesn't, not even a bit. Inquisition is not even a proper RPG, it's your typical console action game but with dumbed down RPG elements. No wonder why half of the old Bioware crew left. Good for them.
You should take expectations into consideration. In most cases, people will never be satisfied with a sequel, this applies to everything. I do agree that some aspects weren't well-developed but I had a really good time with it :p
+Khoa Phan I played inquisition before origins but while I loved origins I was never able to really get into inquisition. The story didn't hook me at all, I keep trying to really get into the game but i just can't and I normally love games like it.
Clif ff yeah it was hard getting into it, the story was really slow at first but it gets pretty good later on. Origins set the standard that was too high for Inquisition imo.
So cod aw gets 9.1 but dragon age inquisition gets 8.8? The media is too bias towards fps. (I like cod aw but its not better than this so don't get bitchy)
I enjoyed it, but I found it a little lacking in great writing/stories compared to the first one. Also, on my first play through I put the difficulty on the hardest setting and still felt unchallenged. I think this was probably intentional though to cater to players that might not enjoy the pausing mechanic of a tactical rpg so that bioware could capture a larger audience.
I was going to get in when I saw it on sale in the psn store. but then there were another 2 games for sale, the witched 3 and shadow of mordor. I'm so lost don't know which one to pick
I never played a Dragon Age game before, but I'm really excited fro this one. Should I read the plots from the previous games or is possible to begin the story with this game?
Defo read the wiki for major plot points. Alternatively try the dragon age Keep. It will tell you the story basics while letting you choose what actions happened in the last 2 games to import into the game when you start. just google dragon age keep.
They didn't have a choice in the matter, they probably got the review copy for PS4. It's definitely going to be superior on PC though. Edit: Not the story, the general gameplay, interface, etc.
Drew Hendrix I didn't comment on that, the weakness is Bioware games is never the story, I'm sure it's fine, everybody else loved it, this guy probably just didn't agree.
I have never played a Dragon Age game before. Would any of you say that I can actually play this game and hop into the universe without trouble? Or would there be another Dragon age game for me to check out
Honestly Darksider 2 brought me to Dragon Age, and I'm thankful for that because this is one of the best RPG/Quest games I've played. I've beat the story, killed all 10 Dragons and still have tons to do. Truly worth the $80 dollars I spent for the deluxe edition..!
Tried playing this a while back after finishing the witcher 3 like 4 years ago and didn’t care for it. Tried it again a few days ago and I’m hooked at the moment.
yeah I agree Faces looka little cartoony in DAI compared with other games but locations are still stunning. It still takes my breath away in the cutscene when you get introduced to Skyhold your HQ for the majority of the game.
ok I'm really trying g to get into these kind of games. should I start with elder scrolls marrowind (i played a bit of skyrim) or should I get inquisition?
So can anyone explain to me how distant the games are (DA:O and DA:I), how old people are (Leliana, moreigan, anyone else), and what order the games come in?
I've owned this game for 2 months now and have put over 110 hours into it (haven't even finished the campaign yet). This, to me, states two specific things:

***** don't start with cod its like a plague the next one is assassin creed
Just bought this game for $7 can’t wait for my first play through 👍
Same. It was $7 bucks & so far it's a pretty great game
Um... so this might seem like a weird question but... Can you jump?
yes
Sadistic Unicorn barely
@@klarkus I got that reference. Terrible movie IMO😅
More realistic jump than being able to jump 20 feet in the air
Yes, yes you can, despite the odds the inquisitor has learnt jump magic
weak story....really? 99% reviewers on the internet disagree with you dear IGN.
why do you care?
Because everyone else on the internet( including other big reviewers) disagrees with IGN.
thats an IGN review for ya
Well those 99% didn't review the game.
it is just one person's opinion, take it with a grain of salt
Console Peasants will dream of playing this game, the way it should ON A FUCKING PC.
i am going to play this on my ps4 and you calling me a Peasant is not going to stop me ass hole
It's not a demanding game, so calm down
I have a high spec gaming PC and I'm getting it for PS4.
Michael Lojewski I don't want to spend 90+ hours hunched over a keyboard when I could sit back comfortably with a controller.
It's so interesting to see the world state that you created playing the previous games continue to play out when you import your saves into Inquisition, especially when you know the lore and backstory of templars vs mages, what happened with Hawke in DA2, what became of the characters in DAO, awakening, etc etc.
its like MMO for people with no friends
game for me!
Me too. Lol
Perfect!!!
I'm still waiting for warzone playable with 99 bots 😂😂 no online, no other players (maybe player 2?)
Here because it's free to claim on EPIC!! May 16th 2024.
The Witcher has a story and setting of its own. It doesnt even want to be a skyrim killer.
As much as I loved this game, Origins along with the dlcs was my personal favourite
This game deserves a legendary edition. Some of the most beautiful scenery and landscapes in a game I’ve ever seen.
You know, even after 10 years
They got a far better graphic than starfield
ENCHANTMENT!
***** SANDAL IS THAT YOU? OH NOOOO
Wahida Malik swooping is baaaad
***** the blacksmith in Haven and Skyhold does the enchantments
***** there is but you can't really do it until you get to Skyhold and recruit Dagna. But tbh you don't really need enchanted weapons in the opening sections anyway tbf. As the enemies in the opening levels aren't that hard once you've mastered the basics of the game.
***** yeah I know he's not but having him was never high up on my agenda as long as the rest of the game is good which imo it is.
who is here after free in epic games xD
me
ridiculously underrated game and my favorite in the series
Looks horrible.
@@Flat_Earth_Addy
Why
how could a goty be underrated?
From my experience with the game, the story isn't weak. I think the issue as that people get so caught up in side quests and fun stuff, that they leave hours of gaps between story missions, making it feel less of a smooth journey. But if you put the story pieces together, its pretty good, imo
Ill wait for Witcher 3 thanks.
GunStreets Bought it when it came out, still havent beat half the storyline xD
arsenal2621 Is there a reason you can't play both?
GunStreets
Except Witcher 3 isnt out for another 3 months, surly even the most casual gamer can finish even a lengthy game such as this within 3 months.
Well whatever, enjoy waiting, ill be playing this and Witcher 3 when it comes out.
Damian Clark I have about 30 games on steam bought during sales which I havent even played and FC4 is coming out next week.
And i play both, thanks.
This game is on sale for 4.99 on PSN right now
r u sure....wer
Playstation network
they have many games on sale for E3
DA-I is 4.99 for everyone with a PS4 and playstation plus. I think the game is 8bucks if you don't have psplus, but this is also for NA region, or USA
+kasinalpha i got playstaion plus and i just looked. it isnt anywere for 4.99??
+kasinalpha oh thanks
The game is free for EA Access members on Xbone and PC
corono virus bought me this game, fantastic a fine jewel and one of my favorite rpg.
We don't have enough time. Couldn't agree more with your comment! 😂
Damn I love RPGs as long as it's not first person!!
what rpg have a fps combined? lol
Fallout & Elder Scrolls series
milan simek idk those games tho
jipsy i highly recommend both. they are great for story and adventuring.
You got that right 3 person is the best
What is this luck! Just when I finished watching this video. I look on the PlayStation store and find the GOTY edition on sale for $10. This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
3 years later. Now ps store is giving away both DAI and mass effect Andromeda for $12
90 hours is the most you have ever played from an RPG? You really need to play an Elder Scrolls of Fallout game then.
Edit: *or* Fallout game...
are you calling this ign reviewer a noob?
Of course not, that goes without saying?
Douglas Fulmer Dude I have completed every fallout game and skyrim and I have to tell you, how do you possibly get over 100 hours on those games? do you start a new game? because if I Load a save, I will lurk around and not see anything to loot but kill but it's only for a short period of time. I don't honestly think it's possible to get over 100 hours... games like dark souls (if your a beginner) and persona yeah I understand But bethesda games? naw I'll pass on that
You should have edited out your mistake instead of adding the edit under.
opkill6 yes
Bought the game a few days ago, I'm around 20 hours, and there is so much left. I love huge games like this. I have to say it is a really awesome game, that still looks good on 360. Definitely a game I'm going to play with for a long time.
This game is a fine jewel. One of my favorites ever.
300+ hrs on this game(plus all its DLCs) and still enjoying it! worth every penny!
Just wait for Witcher 3.
....why not get this game? I mean I don't have to choose one or the other. I can buy this one, and likely have it beaten before Witcher 3 comes out?
Actually, I'd rather play this and then the Witcher 3. Unless you're one of those bitchers that have nothing better to do than troll on a DAI vid. Yeah, im gonna go with option B ;).
***** How was the Witcher 2 not an RPG????
***** Troll.
yeah, its getting really awkward now *flees*
It really makes you FEEL like an inquisition.
Simply one of the best games I've played. I really love it.
2:29 referring to Bartolomeo's sword in assassin's creed 2 ? :D
Today is the day for Epic Gamers lol
how'd you know three hours early?
@@NELiXERY from " Should you play it" channel
Cool thanks I'd never heard of that channel! Just subscribed.
I finished the campaign yesterday, it took me about 3 years since I’ve played other games and stopped with this one. I was and am still amazed at how wonderful this game is, I’ll be playing it again tonight!! Haha😂❤️
Who's here after the epic games sale for free?
TBH this is the most underrated GOTY in this decade, not much people's knew about it
which rogue class got the shotguns or can both rogue classes use the shotguns?
Idk if I should get this. I haven't played any dragon age game before but I love rpg's/open worlds. Should I go for it? Is it good?
I don't trust ign reviews lmao
messi1010ramirez
Can’t believe nobody responded for four years.
Yes
Buy this game
Harry Blackwell I’m here trying to figure out if this is worth buying since it’s on sale. I might pick it up.
Emmanuel Fletcher
It’s a great experience and incredibly fun throughout, if you can afford it, get it 👍
All of the Dragon Age games are great but Inquisition is the first in the series to have a mostly open world.
Do you need to have played the previous games to enjoy this one?
*gives dragon age inquisition 1 con* 8.8
*gives super smash bros no cons* 9.0
*gives GTA V 1 con* 10
ign sort out your reviewe
+Somethingysomething Different IGN reviewers different opinions.
+Somethingysomething Because you can directly compare 1 con with the next? Dude... that's like saying 1 disease is as bad as the next... and well... you know.
Who cares about a number? Really all you need to know is there's only 1 con. Stop bitching and start killing dragons.
dragon age inquisition was better than gta 5 imho
Somethingysomething I
this game is fantastic. i'm 25 hours in and barely scratched the surface. i love how you can free roam into areas where your entire party gets killed on the spot because you're not strong enough to face those enemies yet. leveling up really feels like you're getting stronger
i haven't run into a single bug or glitch and never crashed once. that gets bonus points from me because this game is so massive.
the story and characters are very good as well.
i don't know why this game still gets so much hate. i understood the criticisms of dragon age 2 - i think it's the weakest of the 3 but still enjoyed it, but inquisition addresses many of the issues and it blows dragon age 2 out of the water in terms of presentation and basically everything.
What platform should I get this on and also do you reckon that this game will still be popular during Christmas time?
Nevermind, I'm still playing Dragon Age Origins because the story is amazing and it is the best example of how Voice Acting should sound like. I have Skyrim too indeed and both game are very satisfying, a lot. Nonetheless, the deception with Dragon Age II combat and story line was so huge that I'm not sure if I'm going to buy Inquisition! It is very tempting I must say. Damn Bioware!!
If Activision was involved this game woulda been 9 hrs long and ZERO STORY. The ending being a fake cause the REAL ending is in DLC.
Don't forget they'll release a new dragon age game every year.
XxX_Doritos_XxX Obviously, why have one 90 hr game when you can have TEN 9 hr games. $$$$
XxX_Doritos_XxX
Have you worked at a Video Game studio? I've had the courtesy of visiting Edmonton and from the looks of it, it's hard fucking work. The crew at Bioware Edmonton worked 14+ hours a day, 7 days a week, for 4 years on DAI alone. If you read press releases from the crew at Edmonton, there isn't a Season Pass, there will be no added companions via DLC, and any DLC coming out in the next few months will be free map additions to the Multiplayer. These guys worked hard and deserve a long sabbatical until they start working on the next game.
rayp526 I am pretty sure he was going along with the joke friendo
my b, then.
I think we all can agree that DAI is the best game of 2014
NO COMPETITION
ac unity
far cry 4
shadow of mordor
zombiekingPAT AC Unity isn't all that good though :/.
zombiekingPAT AC Unity?...
www.cracked.com/blog/7-reasons-assassins-creed-least-playable-game-ever/
Avonnye Henderson it is now
Ninjasplay V. it got patched
Weak Plot? now that's disappointing, especially for a Bioware game.
The reviews I read for this game up until now:
Some said the story is awesome, some said it's weak
Some said the main villain isn't just a stereotypical bad guy who wants to destroy the world, some said that he was totally forgettable
Some said the crafting of weapons and armor is good but unnecessary because you find good itens anyway, some said the best itens can only be acquired by crafting
So as you can see, opinions can be highly subjective.
Actually every Bioware game since mid 00's had pretty cringeworthy storyline.
gongal Nope. I love Kotor and also Loved all the MASS EFFECT games
I said nothing about kotor
This and the witcher 3 have me incredibly excited
I dont know if its just me but i sometimes do feel like i hit dead ends, as in that sometimes i cant reach where the map marker is leading me and spend quite so e time trying ti find a path. Is it just me?
the only downside of this game for me is MMO style combat
TheKestevon combat is utter crap
Mad Maestro this game is like £6 on Ps store for the deluxe edition. I’m considering buying it but I don’t want to play a game with shitty combat, what do you think?
@@mclovinjr9086 it's ok. It's mainly strategy based real time combat. Where you switch between managing what you want your party to do and real time action combat.
The combat is Very mmo'ish however. Basic attacks don't stun enemies and what not. However the point is to strategize around the opponent in front of you. Brute force is rarely the way to go in this game.
Frotena and Vasha thank you for the feedback bro, seems like it’s not for me tbh
Yeah...I really want to play it, but this combat style ruins the game for me....
Funny, i've read/watched about 5 reviews now, and every single one except for this one has hailed the plot as the best and most epic in the series. Think he missed the mark here
i think they compared the story to different games
Typical IGN reviews
and everyone else disliked the multiplayer xD
Who is here after Epic games sale
As someone who has played origins to the point where I knew everything about the game inside and out, this gives me anxiety lol. What if I dont like my decisions and I invested so much time in it and how will I be able to 100% it
"all the RPG depth of Dragon Age: Origins"
I chuckled there. Still getting this game though
I should've got this when it was on sale on Xbox live, dammit. I think you just have to be in the mood for these kind of games.
Vague Story? I bet you just made that up. xD
I've never played a DA game before (I know) and I was wondering if this game would be too complex or too unfamiliar for me. I've beaten all the ME games several times and I loved them all. The question is is this game hard to play for a person who's never played one before? All the options on-screen look very confusing.
I really want this game, but I'm not sure if I should play the other ones first. What do you guys think?
Too bad the combat isn't all that fun. (imo) would probably continue playing if it was D:
oh well, Shadow of mordor made up for that :P
It’s on sale right now for 9.59!!! 😱🤯. Buying it today!
0:50 enchanters hood and formal ware against a dragon? really?
So cod aw gets 9.1 but dragon age inquisition gets 8.8? The media is too bias towards fps. (I like cod aw but its not better than this so don't get bitchy)
They came out with the review way too quick for aw I would have given aw a 9.3 at launch but now a 8.3
Same here
Eh. I've started to review my own games.
They give unity a 7.8 for a few bugs but advanced warfares mp is stupidly broken but still gets a 9.1
***** I don't know why I care thought cause I always love them!
I'm 200 hours in and it is 9 years later wow.
Alright guys, for my Xbox One, should I get this, Far Cry 4, or a different game that's not either of those? If the last one, what game?
I just bought the game of the year edition for 24 bucks, hope it's worth it.
I was going to get in when I saw it on sale in the psn store. but then there were another 2 games for sale, the witched 3 and shadow of mordor. I'm so lost don't know which one to pick
+Jaden Tep I'd take Witcher 3 or Dragon Age over Shadow of Mordor anyday
I just bought it for the PS3 for 20 €... I hope it's good...
***** Yeah, it's not. Dull as hell.
+ChaoticGameBoy (NintendoMaster) I would at yes I'm really enjoying it
Actually the story is one the best parts of the game .
I am starting a new play through, I can't decide between rogue twin blades or rogue archer. Any suggestions?
What did you do?
4:00 "congeals" is a very strange word choice...
I never played a Dragon Age game before, but I'm really excited fro this one. Should I read the plots from the previous games or is possible to begin the story with this game?
check up on the stories on the other games just to be prepared. Ur gonna jump into this game without knowing what a templar is lol
Marc Anthony I will. Thanks, man.
Defo read the wiki for major plot points. Alternatively try the dragon age Keep. It will tell you the story basics while letting you choose what actions happened in the last 2 games to import into the game when you start. just google dragon age keep.
Thank you, man.
Rodrigo Deway No problem buddy :). Try also the wiki sites. they have some pretty good summaries
WEAK PLOT!? For real? Wow... IGN, stick to rating fps please. You also played this on a console -_-
They didn't have a choice in the matter, they probably got the review copy for PS4. It's definitely going to be superior on PC though.
Edit: Not the story, the general gameplay, interface, etc.
No one will take you seriously with that photo
+Kolbe Howard How does that effect the story
Drew Hendrix I didn't comment on that, the weakness is Bioware games is never the story, I'm sure it's fine, everybody else loved it, this guy probably just didn't agree.
***** Sorry I read to fast. I feel like the story won't be mindblowing but will be a fun ride
Tried it again a few days ago and I’m hooked at the moment.
even in 2016 this game graphics still looks very good tho
yeah I agree Faces looka little cartoony in DAI compared with other games but locations are still stunning. It still takes my breath away in the cutscene when you get introduced to Skyhold your HQ for the majority of the game.
no they don't
Nigel Woo yes they do
No they don't. For me they looked believable and beautiful and don't you tell me my Morrigan's face looks cartoony I'll fight you over that face!! :D
2014 - 2015 to be more precise.
ok I'm really trying g to get into these kind of games. should I start with elder scrolls marrowind (i played a bit of skyrim) or should I get inquisition?
What did you do?
skyrim definitely
So can anyone explain to me how distant the games are (DA:O and DA:I), how old people are (Leliana, moreigan, anyone else), and what order the games come in?
Did you get your answer?
