I guess it shouldn't surprise me. I have seen quite a few people on Twitter that seemed to have based their entire existence around praising / talking about aew. It's fucking weird.
Hasnt been a singles champion yet but is one of the few stars to have held all WWE tag team titles.
Drew, Cody, and Toni are the only ones who left WWE and repackaged themselves successfully.
He's getting the most air time and best push he's gotten. Was never leaving
Chad Gable started in the Performance Centre, unless you're someone who got their start either in Japan or the indies and got really popular there, going to AEW is pretty much an admission that your career is over.
Ricochet going makes sense, AEW is tailor made for guys like him. WWE can't push everyone at once and shouldn't be making creative decisions based on "how do we cater to this wrestler enough that they won't go to our competitors?"
Guys and ladies looking for creative fulfilment and career growth that don't care about star ratings probably aren't gonna be too interested in jumping ship.

@WalkBesideMe Difference is WWE uses having a house show loop to let those people feel like they're doing something with AEW you're literally doing nothing if Tony doesn't want you which is infinitely more frustrating
