Honestly, public school teachers don't do much. I put my child in two Catholic schools and one public school in South Hampton Roads. While the curriculum wasn't to my standards at the Catholic schools, those teachers worked their fannies off every day with lower pay than the public school teachers. The public school teachers seem to do the bare minimum with their students. It made me angry... especially having a non-white child. Public schools are filled with minority children, and they're getting scraps.

Can't wait till we go back to how do we better educate the kids Or shall I say how do we get the kids to educate themselves.
Teachers higher pay has not improved the education system.
