Not that anyone cares, but i use the 90D with either a sigma 18-35mm or 24-70mm. The battery life is pretty darn good and if youre filming in 1080p the files render and upload pretty quick.
There is an autofocus speed adjustment, i just crank mine up a smidge and let sigma do the rest. They are heavoer than all hell, but my wife does makeup tutorials and i do a gang of different things.
Using the 24-70mm lens on a monopod above my head for multiple wet tshirt contests, the canon did a good job and wasnt too bad holding it up in the air for half an hour at a time.
Anyways, the 90D has never let me down in the year that ive had it.
I mean the astrophotography kid ought to look at the Nikon Z mount, but that Sony Doom is obviously the BDSM of CZcams camera channels.
I just got back from the desert shooting astro, the z6ii with the 14-24 f/2.8 is amazing. You can zoom in on a star and use autofocus, no need to mess around with manual focus - a welcome convenience.

I got the dual stab, live in Mozambique happily with the g95 and panny 100-400. killing it every time in Kruger. btw, lived in Ottawa and miss those black squirrels.
You should try IS video lock mode with the Panasonic when using a telephoto lens, not the dual stabilisation mode I've made it a shortcut function button, but you can only toggle it when recording or on the video manual option (on the g9 anyway), its not an obvious feature but it's like your camera is on a tripod.

He is funny, but... Canon RP for astrophotograhpy? Speaking of weed... that camera has the worst sensor ever made for full frame, in terms of DR and noise. Better use a potato. Any other camera from any brand (including Canon) would destroy the RP in low light.
@@IzzioMou He has helped me though. I'm going for the Canon eos R. I realized that I don't care for the sony for the exact reasons he stated, but the RP is a little too handicapped in frame rate and dynamic range/ low light. I showed my whole family and everyone was cracking up at my expense, lol.

The G9 acquires focus in a weird way but when it did it stayed there. Noticed several times the Canon went whacko. Is the Pany Boy growing up?
I'd love to hear your comments about the vintage lenses hype. I still use a XT1 with Canon FD (110mm f2.5 for macros), Minolta MC (28mm f1.8 for street) and MD (300mm 4.5 for wildlife). IBIs is what I miss the most. Looking for a good priced XH1. P.s I am in Brazil, so due to shity exchange rate, everything is 5x more expensive.

Question is, do you gimble? MOZA Aircross 2 early July if the tech support agent I was speaking to was being honest will have fixed object tracking. Not ridiculous transmitter needed like is the case on the DJI Ronin series. Also any love for the coming Panasonic GH6, by specs it sounds like a winner, however the sensor will it read out fast enough or the 24MP getting dancing straight lines hmmm.

WTH, I was looking at one maybe 6 months ago for like $300. I guess I missed that boat.
Whoa. The HDR-as300 is the 1080 version, which is all you really need. And it is also now insanely expensive.
The color needs post production help for sure, but otherwise, it's SUCH a great little vlogging camera. Its mechanical IBIS beats everything, (digital stabilization is for chumps), its mics are amazing and the lens is perfect. What a great little camera!
The only problem is that with regular use, it *will* eventually fail due to the glue holding the sensor array being a stupid engineering solution. So I'd be cautious about buying one used, because you just don't know how much life is left in it. I got mine new several years ago, and it's still great, but I also don't take mine to equatorial Asian countries and push cameras the way Kasey does...

Actually that Canon RP, if bought with the proper expectations, which means you are not gettig an R5 or a sony equivalent, is a great little camera very pleasing to use. Nikon also has the Z5 but never had one in my hands.

I have a budget of the approximate equivalent of sweatshop employees, several of them in fact.
I hope that you can lend me your expertise in photography to help me determine if I should upgrade from my current camera, the SONIQ INSPIRE HD, to the Safari 4, also, in camera audio is very important to me and my many important clients.

My ridiculously small camera budget for record moving images stretches to... a brick... or my 3-year-old niece who owns some finger paints... Which should I choose? I am leaning towards the brick.... for capturing still life... the 3-year-old has an artist temperament.

The only camera you need is a Nikon Z50 tbh, the rest are overpriced for what you get imo! Unless you're a full time photographer or videographer that makes money from it then yeah full frame is the way to go, for everybody else crop sensor is fine, and Z50 is probably the best crop sensor camera out there atm! Grats on 100k btw, been subbed since like 15k I believe! lol

100k congrats Kasey. I'm a nikon user. I plan to switch from APSC Nikon Z to full frame Nikon Z ... basicaly from a no-lens system to a no-lens system ... Do you think the AF viltrox 23mm/f1.4 for APSC will be good enough for vlogging ? (too long probably) ... or is it better to wait the 28mm/2.8 pancake lens with FF ?

I just recently got the FX3 (needed the XLR inputs and Sony's separate unit has been out of stock forever) plus you get the cute handle. I got the sigma 24-70 2.8 toneh but I was wondering do I need the ND filter life? I see you using them to soften the image sometimes but I have no idea if it's worth getting. I am now poor from my FX3 and the expensive ass memory cards lol.
